Brilliant work! It's obvious you've put a lot of effort and thought into this. Veronica upgrading ED-E was a fantastic idea and likewise regarding Rex's implants. As with other people, I really hope at some point you implement this with other mods, especially for DLC Companions All in One. At the moment I'm going with the idea that Christine won't accept implants due to trauma from her Auto-Doc experience. If you do incorporate the aforementioned mod it might be a cool idea that she require some serious speech checks and even therapy à la Corporal Betsy to undergo surgery again. I suppose any doctor could fulfill that task for her although Schuler or even Arcade would fit well. Fingers crossed you implement the various Cyberware and DLC implants in the future. Thank you for your time and effort in making this. *Edit, I reread your future ideas article and it sounds like you've already considered all that so never mind, keep up the great work*
**Re-edit. I'm experiencing some gameplay breaking bugs: health regeneration has gone through the roof and excessive points are being added to SPECIALs so my companions are now invincible gods. Unfortunately I have to disable the mod and reload to before I installed it as I can't sort it out with console commands. Looking forward to an update as I really like this mod**
Yeah, this one really stumped me, but I feel relatively certain the SPECIAL excess additions are from this mod, I got it, too. It's a shame, because it really is a great idea, lord knows I couldn't do better. Here's hoping someone with the knowhow takes it on themselves to put together some fixes.
This mod not working properly for me. The Nemean sub armor implant did not increase DT while the Strengh implant increase carry weight by 100 instead of 50 like in the description. Is this incompatible with PN-Cyberware since it the only mod i use touch the implant of the game?
Been using this for a long time - was probably one of the first to DL it. All I can say is it works like a charm! The closest thing to a "bug" I can find is that after getting ED-E back from the Followers (my go to for his upgrade at the end of "ED-E My Love" - assuming that is the correct name) his SRECIAL stats seem to revert back to the basic stat he had to start the game (I use First Aid NVSE - Heal and Use Items on NPCs that shows SPECIAL stats on the companion wheel). Even his carry weight reverts back. I call it a "quote bug unquote" as everything corrects when I start playing again - loading a save. It might be a conflict with mods I am running, or just a plain bad mod somewhere in my load order fooking things up. Either way it isn't a big deal, and the 'fix' for it is as simple as rebooting my computer and starting again from the last save. That being said, if you have this happen to you, DON'T buy the upgrades again - that doesn't help! Quite simply the best "cap-sinking" mod I've ever tried
My theory is that those aren't bug from this mod or any mods, but is due to how the game works. Because in technical term, ED-E with no upgrade and with upgrades are two completely different character. Notice how all of them have different form ID. This might make all the changes from old ED-E unable to carried on to the new one.
it'd be pretty cool to get the cybernetic perks form Old World Blues if you talk to the si nk autodoc. even jsut the end of DLC ones w here their organs are still in their bodies but augmented.
I'm not sure if this is intentional or not but Veronica's dialogue for upgrading EDE can be selected multiple times for the same implants, I can't tell if it's actually adding the effects multiple times or if it's just taking caps
This is a great mod, I only just got around to installing this recently and having Veronica make EDE more durable and able to regenerate is so helpful. I hope someday this gets updated to be TTW compatible or for other modded companions
