DESCRIPTION

From the time you first launch Fallout New Vegas, you can tell it's a pretty dated game for only being released in 2010. And while Fallout 4 is sometimes considered the Skyrim of the series for being too mainstream, I'm going to be honest, it's aesthetics and UI design are pretty fantastic (in my opinion). But I couldn't find a single mod that would do what I'd like it to do, so I decided to create my own. Every loading screen you see is hand-made in Photoshop to closely replicate Fallout 4's own, but with New Vegas objects and texts sprinkled on top. After all, you see a loading screen every time you launch the game, load a save, or enter a building, so why not enhance your waiting time? The main goal of this mod is simply to modernize the feel of the game, and that's exactly what it does. So I hope you all enjoy, and thank you!

INSTALLATION

[Main File]
Simply use the mod manager of your choice to install, or just drop the data folder into your Fallout New Vegas root file. Make sure you enable all .esp's and .esm's as well. When you're done with that, make sure you go into your Documents\My Games\FalloutNV folder and edit the FalloutPrefs.ini to match the green color the mod uses. More details in the Notes section below.

[MCM Patch]
Same thing as before, either use a mod manager or drop the data folder into the root.

[DarNified UI Patch]
Create an effigy of your selected victim and encircle with candles, whispering the Black Sacrament ritual to yourself until the mod is installed.

NOTES

I highly recommend editing your FalloutPrefs.ini to match the green color used in the mod so everything is cohesive. Just hit CTRL + F and find "uPipBoyColor=" and "uHUDColor=" and change the number after to 352262143. It should look like this:

uPipboyColor=352262143
uHUDColor=352262143

IF YOU ARE USING MODS LIKE oHUD, or anything similar, make sure to reinstall it after OF4UI.
