Adds more bottlecap mine recipes to the workbench. Also a bottlecap mine breakdown recipe, so you can get your precious caps back

I didn't like how restrictive bottlecap mines were in their construction, and I couldn't find a mod that had my ideas already in it, so I just made one.

This mod adds 5 new variations of the recipe for bottlecaps with additional efficient recipes for players who take the GRA perk Mad Bomber.  and one breakdown recipe, and an efficient breakdown recipe for players who take Mad Bomber.

The recipes are simple variations and go as follows:

  • Legion variants substitute 10 denarius for the 10 bottlecaps in the recipe.
  • Powder variants, for people who have the Powder Charge schematic, substitute 2 dynamite for the 5 cherry bombs
  • Satchel variants substitute 50 pistol powder for the 5 cherry bombs.

There's legion variants for each explosive variant.

The mad bomber efficiency variants just reduce the amount of explosive, in-line with the efficient variants of recipes that already exist.

NOW, THE LONG-AWAITED TTW ADDITION IS BEING ADDED!

The TTW version is fully compatible with the TTW Bottlecap Mine crafting system and includes

  • scaling number of mines with schematics
  • recipes that are in-line with the bottlecap recipes in TTW
  • hours of fun and immersion*


FAQ

1.  is this mod compatible with TTW 3.2?

yes, although I'll be making a TTW-specific version shortly

2.  is this mod compatible with <insert overhaul mod here>?

unless <insert overhaul mod here> takes WeapBottlecapMine out of the game, then yes.  Will it work in their thematic systems?  idunno, i don't use that mod

3.  Will you make a patch for <insert mod here>?

nope.  make your own, it's not that hard.

4.  isn't this mod kinda cheating with TTW 3.2?

not really.  sure you can create more bottlecap mines with the same set of ingredients as per the FO3 system, but the breakdowns don't give you exactly what you used to create them.  Notably, you won't be getting sensor modules back, just scrap electronics.  So you won't be getting tons of free mines with this.

5.  Roy says you're an assassin droid, is that true?

yes.

6.  do i really need GRA and LR?

to be honest, you don't really need LR, but it seems silly to use the recipe variant based on the satchel bomb there without you having LR.  you could just pull that master dependency out if you can figure out how.  GRA though, that's non-negotiable and i don't care if you don't want the DLC.
