    IMPORTANT NOTICE:
ALL FALLOUT 1 AND 2 MUSIC CAN BE FOUND IN THE FILES OF NEW VEGAS.
REPORT ALL BUGS TO THE BUGS TAB.
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SUGGEST ANY LOCATION MUSIC CHANGES.
IF YOU WANT ANY PROOF THAT ALL THE FILES ARE IN NEW VEGAS, GO TO THE NEW VEGAS GAME FILES, SEARCH FOR MUSIC, AND FIND THE FO1 AND FO2 FILE.
YOU CAN ALSO CHECK OUT MY MOD DOWNLOAD TO SEE THAT IT ONLY ADDS AN ESP.
    PLEASE ENJOY!!!

Late reply but true, idk if the author is still active but these changes would improve the mod greatly

Say I wanted to keep the classic music for all the other locations, but keep the original music for Doc Mitchell's house (One of my favorite tracks). How would I do that?

The file only requires a few kilobytes. Seems a bit small for adding several soundtracks.

By Far this is my favorite mod throughout my mod list, it brings that adventure and the atmosphere back to fallout new vegas makes it feel deep, by just the soundtrack.

tbqh should have replaced combat music too, it is so annoying and reeks of oblivion

I think "Second Chance" for the Mojave outpost and "Industrial Junk" for Novac would fit perfectly. EDIT: I also think "Desert Wind" should be used in the unoccupied spaces across the wasteland. These are just suggestions, tell me if you like.

Still doesnt work. I dont know why. The only classic soundtrack that works for me is this https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/38557?tab=files But it has the tracks extracted and doesnt uses new vegas archives.

Are you sure you didn't get a music replacer or accidentally remove the FO1/FO2 Music? You should probably go check the games files.

I'm using Mod Organizer and Steam license so all the game files should be fine. And i dont have any replacers for original music, all those files from other classic soundtrack mods are placed in teir specific folders. I have no idea why it doesnt work.

That's strange, do you use the LOOT organizer? It could be possible that there is a conflict.

I'm actually using LOOT. It's late here so i'll probably play around with it tomorrow, will take a look through FNVEdit, maybe i would be able to find out what causes the problem. I'll reply as soon as i figure it out.

I havent found "Music\Fallout1and2\Fallout" folder in my game files.
Maybe it has someting to do with my game version? It's a russian version, but i changed the language to english in steam, before i installed the game.
      Which version are you using?

So after i downloaded (fbi open up) GOG version i took that folder from there and put in my game data folder the mod started to (just) work. I guess its just steam version was an issue. Would there be any copyright issues if you upload sound files as option for people like me, who encountered the same problem?
