Found a laser pistol mesh with nice iron sights sitting around on my computer (thanks to Madcat221), decided to make it work with GRA. Uses Weapon Mesh Improvement Mod meshes as a base.

Didn't like the fugly lego block sights from Gun Runners' Arsenal so I decided to do something about it when I discovered these unused meshes on my computer. The sights feature a six o'clock hold, meaning that the target is put above the front sight post. See the images for clarity.

As for the actual part of the gun that has the sights, I have absolutely no idea where it came from - I found them sitting
unused in my data directory while cleaning up loose files and figured that they'd be so much better than the fugly lego blocks
we got from GRA. If anyone knows where it came from do tell so I can update the credits list.
Just found out that it was Madcat221's Imma Sightin Mah Lazor mod that I had downloaded in the middle of last year then completely forgot about after installing TTW.

The plugin file is necessary as it makes changes to the first person static textures to make sure they don't look like they just came out of a blender. Merge it into another plugin with FNVEdit if you want to keep your load order to a minimum (which is never a bad idea) or if you're using one of the numerous mods that merges GRA stuff with the vanilla weapons. It also changes the name of the laser pistol combat sights mod to laser pistol night sights, and the description from (Gun Runners Arsenal)Adds usable iron sights to Adds improved night sights.

If you're keeping GRA weapons separate from the base game weapons, in the zip file go to meshes\nvdlc05\weapons\1handpistol and copy the laserpistol.nif file to meshes\weapons\1handpistol. If you want the vanilla pistol to have night sights copy laserpistoloptics.nif to meshes\weapons\1handpistol and rename it to laserpistol.nif

Alternatively you can just use FNVEdit to tweak the mesh path.
