Could you update the Uncut Wasteland patch at some point to work with the ESM version provided through Viva New Vegas Resources?

Can you do one that just deals with the interiors of the casinos please? I use mods that are 10 years old and temperamental.

The broken roads and sand are there because both mods edit the landscape, just delete Strip Lighting Overhauls landscape edits in FNVEdit and its fixed.

I have no clue how to do that, can you give me a quick lesson? I've got all the prerequisites but don't know how to use them

Needs a version that doesn't touch Casino Interiors.....but otherwise nice work, I can't use it as I have  other Casino interior replacers this overwrites as its an ESM.

So Far So Good with this. I'm using this on a test play-through. I'm building a new machine for a heavily Modded version of FNV. I used this as as a substitute for=open strip. It works so well and is so stable that if Open strip does not perform the way I want I'll use this instead. Looks beautiful and has most of the features and Esthetiques of Strip open without any of the downsides. There is one Caveat..... Like the author of this MOD I use "FNV real world lighting" instead of ENB. This has numerous advantages. It does indeed look real world without the overhead. also most ENBs have negative side effects on MODs and textures. This does none of that however...... There can be issues with Freeside and The followers fort in terms of daytime lighting. I use Vortex which has Loot built in: but this also means that unless vortex detects a conflict you cannot (as far as I know) change the load order. Its not crippling or game breaking by any means but it is annoying. you can actually just wait till dusk and lighting will return to normal. This is NOT: I repeat is NOT a fault in this MOD but in VORTEX when used with real world lighting. You may also get over the top brightness with spotlights on Lucky 38. Please don't be discouraged by any of this. LSO is a great MOD especially for older and low spec machines as well as people who have had no Luck with Open strip. ENDORSED. :-)

Of course, you can change the load order in Vortex/LOOT. FNVRL needs to load dead last, after your BASH and occlusion patches. In the plugins tab, use the "manage rules" function.

It's Mod, not MOD. Mod is not an acronym, it's just short for modification. lol why the f*#@ do you people keep doing that?

Is there a way to get this and simple strip open to play nicely? I downloaded the no walls version, but 1 of two things is happening.

Either I load Simple Strip Open after LSO No Walls, like the below comment says, and LSO No Walls simply doesnt take affect.

However, if I load LSO No Walls after Simple Strip Open, they both work together except for a chunk of wall that still exists by the Ultra Luxe.

Anyone had any success getting these two to work together?

I'm also having this issue. Edit: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/73148 I'd recommend using this, it fixed the issue for me.

Unfortunately, the main problem seem to be the navigational meshes: from what I see, the No-Walls version still has walls and has to treat NPCs with this in mind. Upon looking at both mods in the FNVEdit and based on my limited understanding of this, the Simple Strip Open's and this mod's conflicting NavMesh data are both different: one accounts for the removed clutter/objects, the other one just for the removed walls, and there's no ''best of both worlds'' here. Based on Hermit85's report below there needs to be a patch for this, or the NPC pathing gets messed up.

Expect a new influx of comments inquiring on compatibility with Simple Open Strip. Hopefully this mod plays nice with it.

They work fine together. Just make sure to load Simple Strip Open AFTER Lightweight Strip Overhaul, otherwise you'll have portions of the gate appearing.

@AveryUncreativeUsername - I tried that about a week ago and found that there were still parts of the crumbling landscape clipping through the Strip road near to the The Tops. NPC pathing would also go awry (I presume since both mods make significant NavMesh edits). Many of the NPCs would gather and remain static in one place after a period of time (with both mods installed and in either load order orientation)

edit: I found several mods the inexplicably edited the Strip landscape.  Once I fixed those, the dirt piles were gone with no apparent bad side effects.  See this conversation: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/10365798-strip-lighting-overhaul/page-4#entry98500493

basically I have to use the no walls version of lso, since it replaces the inner walls of the strip and simple open strip removes the inner walls, therefore making walls without gates connecting them existing
