About this mod
This simple recipe mod adds 3 new recipes that convert pre war money into NCR money, which makes it easier to trade in to merchants and casinos. The recipes are automatically added and come in the form of NCR $5 Bill, $20 bill, and $100. Money is crafted at a workbench provided you have the right barter skill.

This is my first mod here in the Nexus and first time actually publishing anything. Its a simple creation, but one that I figured would be useful for some players. After the dead money dlc, if you are like me, you will have over 10k prewar bills that you can't seem to use and most vendors don't accept it at face value of 10 caps, so what do you do with all that cash? Well, my mod aims to answer that question. I have added three recipes at the workbench called NCR Bills wherein you can convert the right amount of prewar money to convert it into the currency of your choice. To provide balance to the game, I have made each tier, so to speak, require a certain level of barter. To exchange $100 bills with 100 prewar money, you require 75 barter, and 50 for the 20 dollar bills, with 25 barter needed for 5 dollar bills.
Once you convert the money at a workbench, you can then exchange it at any merchant or casino for a fair and even value exchange. Again, this is the first mod I ever published but I plan on making more. I am considering making a Legion version of this once I see how many people like this. Thank you and enjoy.
Updated Version: I just realized there was an error in my original file. Each prewar money is a stack of presumably 10 dollar bills so I fixed the recipes accordingly. Now 10 prewar money makes $100 and 2 makes $20. 1 stack of prewar money creates 2 NCR $5 bills. I also fixed the errors of the ncr money being worth less, as they are worth 5 caps, 20 caps, and 100 caps respectfully. I am surprised I already have 10 downloads. Thanks for expressing interest in this idea. I might do a reversal one too, where the ncr money can go back to being prewar, if you want prewar money instead.
