The R-35 plasma submachine gun was developed by the big minds from the BIG-MT. While not known for their weapons, they did make exceptions for the right amount. They were commissioned by REPCONN in the early 2070's to develop a new, rapid fire plasma weapon to combat the AER-9 laser rifle. The shipment was ambushed on the way to REPCONN though. Leaving the weapon free for any daring intrepid wastelander to attempt to take.
