This is a simple mod (for TTW!) that lets you use Mister Burke's house as player housing. All the containers are safe, and the bed gives a Well Rested bonus.
The door can no longer be picked; you need a key. You can get the key by killing Mister Burke (in which case the key is on his body) or by seducing him with Black Widow (in which case he encloses the key in the first of his love letters). Once inside, you will find the deed on the desk.
Why? Maybe you don’t like a supercilious robot watching you sleep. Maybe you’re sick and tired of having to vault Dogmeat every time you get out of bed. Maybe you think it’s rude to stomp around overhead in power armor at all hours while poor Jenny Stahl is trying to get some sleep. Maybe you enjoy dropping in on Moira to do your crafting, or visiting Walter to use the water fountain, and you don’t want to become the Howard Hughes of Megaton, holed up in your lonely mansion, caressing your bobbleheads.
Or, of course, you might be using a mod that makes the Megaton bomb harder to deactivate. In that case you might want a starter house.
