    1handpistol, 2handautomatic, 2handrifle, 2handhandle, 2handlauncher, and 1handmelee are now completed. 2handmelee is next to do. When those are done I will do unarmed weapons .. Then I'll complete the mod by finishing up the DLC weapons, many of which are already done.

    There will also be an optional to have the cowboy repeater and brush gun sans peep sights.

    Be patient, it's coming.

    Since you are not going to do patches for: WMX, EVE etc. which are two mods I am using, could you or anybody else tell me how much do they effect like what are the biggest bugs? or well in this case texture glitches? like what happens if I have this mod, WRP, WMX, EVE? Do some guns just look awfull cause theyr so bugged or what? thank you :)

      All the irons sights will be off, most of the fixes will be nullified, not sure what texture glitches you'll get.

    Hi, i have never released a mod yet, but i wanted to do that, but it would contain your mod is some way, just wanted to share my weapon meshes tweaks so i dont have to backup anything (i just dont like doing it xd), just download them from nexus and possibly make some people happy about my work, stuff that i made would contain some unused content like rear sight for .45 smg, better looking (in my opinion) weapons, all of this made with blender, pasting over changes to weapons from your mod, so (at least i think) they would be 100% compatible with WMIM, question is... can i do that? xd

      Not if you used blender no, it breaks normals on export because niftools resets them always, and this defeats the purpose of my work.

      You can use selected meshes, but make users aware that the quality will not be the same.

      I have restored the Tommy Gun sight in the next version already.

      i mean i havent exported the changed nifs as a weapons, i exported them as a placeholders, then i selected the changed meshes and pasted over to vanilla weapons, not using copy branch but rather copy - paste over method, does that also screw the meshes? i knew about the blender doing bad shizl to weapons when direct export, thats why i think this mod of mine should work 100% fine, maybe im wrong, let me know :P
      EDIT: wanted to clarify the method - import the weapon into blender - change something - export outside of game directory - open it in nifskope - select NiTriStrips - NiTriStripsData - block - copy - paste over to untouched vanilla weapon, does that also screw something? i thought it doesnt but well im inexperienced wanna-be-modmaker xd

      Yes, blenders exporter resets all the normals of vertices, which screws up the lighting. People have bugged Neomonkeus to fix this for years, but he doesn't do it. It basically renders Blender absolutely useless for editing vanilla meshes.

    Came across something of a bug with the minigun. Half the time when firing, it would revert to the animation in older versions of the game where there was a windup. The other half of the time, it fires instantly without a wind up -- as is normal in the latest version of New Vegas. Also, during the windup animations, the actual sound of the windup is missing -- the weapon sounds like it's already firing. If you like, I can make a short video showcasing this.

      Its broken on the engine side, we'll fix it eventually. All weapons with looping sounds have issues like this. Usually it's them not playing the sound at all.

      Thanks for the explanation. By the way, this mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/63107) fixed for me the sound issue you mentioned. The sound plays reliably when I have it installed. Without the mod, the sound only plays maybe half the time. In both instances, the animation issues remain.

    I was reading the posts here and saw mentions of buffs to some laser weapons or something. What stat changes have you made? I can't find any mention in the changelog section and I know f*** all about modding so I have no idea how to check and revert myself.

    Does this mod effect Project Nevada's Fallout 3 weapon sounds at all, because I'm not getting any, reload, or firing sounds with this mod installed...Don't know if it's on my end or what.

      "KNOWN ISSUES AND BUGS:

      - ALL WEAPONS
      - Reload sounds may not sync

      Between Fallout 3 and New Vegas the system used for playing sounds while reloading changed. Previously this was done with a single sound effect, timed to match the associated animation, but now most reload sound effects are actually done in three parts. This is because of the various Perks and Traits (Rapid Reload, Trigger Discipline, Fast Shot, etc.) which affect reload speed; other conditions seem to affect reload time as well. Depending on any of these factors you may notice the animations played by Fallout 3 weapons do not perfectly match up with the sounds played.

      I plan to address this in the future, if possible, but I do not have any real expertice when it comes to modifying animations. I'm sure I can slog through it, eventually, but if anybody would like this to get done quicker who has the necessary skill, BY ALL MEANS feel free to lend a hand."

      Depends what mod it is. This is mod is going to conflict with any other mod altering the vanilla weapons.

      I haven't finished the mod yet, and WMX would be several hundred patched nifs even then, not worth it.

    Hiya Roy. Question for ya. There's a couple of conflicts with Unofficial Patch NVSE, in these two records:

    FormID List 00165115 - PerkPyromaniacAmmo
    Projectile 0016021F - GaussProjectile

    On the first one, if order in a form list doesn't make a difference, and I don't think it does, might want to make the order in your list the same as the one in UPNVSE, just to get rid of the red conflict in FNVEdit. Obviously ultra low priority since it shouldn't actually matter, but just throwing it out there.

    The second one is a bigger problem. I've no idea how the conflicts should be resolved. Is load order sufficient, and if so, what should it be? I'm tempted to just make a patch forwarding the Speed edit only from UPNVSE and keeping all your other changes, but I don't know if the edit to the EditorID would also matter. EditorID doesn't matter in Skyrim SE, but I thought I heard it can matter in FNV. Could your changing the EditorID in any way conflict with what UPNVSE is trying to do?

      The next release will change that stuff in UPNVSE. I'll also update the Pyro ammo list in this.

      I'm working really hard daily to get this updated, yesterday I did 23 melee weapon meshes, should finish those today. It's a seriously huge amount of work. :D

      Well, if you're "sitting on fixes" you could release a update right away... the important stuff is the records and script edits, minor meshes/textures can wait

      The meshes are the entire point of the mod, not minor record edits, and there are no script edits. Be patient.
