Dead Money is my favorite DLC, but there have always been a few things that bugged me about it, like how a hyper-advanced security system identifies fancy clothing as contraband, or how if you have the OWB Hazmat Suit you couldn't use it despite it issued to all workers and the construction crew (but i'll let that one slide because of DLC interaction limitations). So I decided to try my hand at dealing with these commonly recognized issues.
What it Does:
- Ghosts are no longer literally unkillable before and after Dead Money.
- The player can now take some nicer looking clothes into the Sierra Madre, including but not limited to gambler and all pre-war outfits.
- The player can take the OWB Hazmat Suit into the Sierra Madre, and when wearing both pieces it makes you immune to the ambient (hardcore) cloud, and allows you to survive 50% longer in dense cloud pockets.
- The OWB Hazmat Suit has had it's poison resist reduced to 50%/15%, however it now also has 50%/15% fire resist. I did this because Ghost People are immune to fire damage and I wanted to kind of copy it over to the player's suit.
- Sierra Madre chips will no longer be taken away at the start (for whatever reason you have them)
