About this mod

Prevents the popup messages when you start the game and makes the quest begin only once you listen to the emergency broadcast.
TTW Compatible.

In the same vein as Delay DLC, this mod delays Boom to the Moon.
Rather than having a host of messages pop up when you start the game (The quest, the intro message, the radio message...), you will simply have the radio broadcast in your PipBoy.
Once you listen to the broadcast, the quest will be added.
Keep in mind that you CAN skip the first section of the quest by heading directly to the quest location, and Jokerine doesn't have any dialogue for players who happen to stumble upon the place instead of hearing the broadcast.
I have tested this, and it doesn't seem to cause any technical issues, it's just a bit weird. However, you'd have to completely ignore the radio broadcast until you find the place, which is unlikely to happen. But, again, it doesn't seem to cause technical issues.

As a bonus, this mod is compatible with TTW by parenting the radio to Radio New Vegas, which is disabled while in DC.
You might consider it slightly unrealistic that a broadcast from the moon doesn't touch anywhere but the Mojave, but I think it's a good immersion trade-off for having a quest you can't complete until you make it to the Mojave.
Also, it might be because only the quest location has the equipment to pick up and rebroadcast the emergency signal, I don't know; I haven't played through the quest yet.

This mod does not work retroactively, meaning you will unfortunately need to have it enabled when you start the game. If you disable it after that point, you will be unable to receive the quest unless you find the quest location.
You could probably just run a 'StopQuest xx059650' (Where 'xx' is MoonQuest.esm's two-digit load order number) in the console is to hide the quest from your PipBoy until you listen to the broadcast, though.
