Jan. 2018 -This is my first mod for Fallout: New Vegas. It took me about 7 hours to finish it. I have seen A LOT mods out there, and I'm surprised we don't even have a New Vegas Mod for Sweetrolls. So I decided to take the initiative of creating a mod for them. (I'm fully aware you can actually obtain Sweetrolls through console command). This mod contains the exact Sweetroll console object id. But I changed it's effects: -10 FOD, HP +2(5s), Rads +2.
Jan. 2019 - It's been over a year since I've made this mod, so I decided to add more content this year. This new installation offers new beverages, restored cut content such as flavored mentats and an item called "Focus" which only existed as an icon for the pipboy. "Focus" pretty much just looks like eyedrops, so I made an eyedrops that gives +3 to Perception for 1 hour.
Aug. 25. 2021 - I'm very sorry for being gone for a long time. I managed to get my life back together and I can finally work on this mod. I have made some new features from recommended feedback. I also reduced the amount of baking supplies you can buy from each vendor for wasteland realism and added two new features for supplies: Produce Sack and Egg Sack. Thanks to (laclongquan) for the eggs and produce in bulk idea.
Jan. 20. 2023 - I have finally been able to adjust some of the starvation numbers for certain sweetrolls by their ingredients rarity and the theoretical idea of how each variant would sate fullness. Thanks to the idea by one of our commenters (BrightlightBarking) who made a good point in regards to balancing hunger. I also reworked the ice cold beverage recipes to be done at workbenches rather than campfires. Like the vanilla default recipe for Ice Cold Nuka Cola should also be. Iced cold beverage recipes can only be obtained by unlocking the Ice Chemist Perk at Level 8/Science 80.
-THIS MOD CHANGES THE AMOUNT OF PERK POINTS YOU GET PER LEVEL. THE DEFAULT SETTING FOR FALLOUT: NEW VEGAS IS THAT YOU GET 1 PERK PER 2 LEVELS. IN THIS MOD, YOU GET 1 PERK POINT PER LEVEL TO BALANCE OUT PERKS YOU CAN GET FROM THIS MOD EXCLUSIVELY WHILE STILL GETTING VANILLA NEW VEGAS PERKS AND PERKS FROM OTHER MODS YOU INSTALL. [Mod Description]:
"Sweetrolls"; This mod restores Sweetrolls from Fallout 3 that only appeared in that game once. I decided to make this mod for New Vegas because I couldn't find any mods that focuses on JUST Sweetrolls. This mod offers 11 additional different types of Sweetrolls and their effects as well as their crafting recipes.
"Beverages"; This Sweetrolls expansion now offers additional drinks you can make on your campfire for a survival check of 15. It also allows you to make your beverages ice cold on your local campfire for a science check of 80.
"Restored Mentats"; This Sweetrolls expansion also gives you the restoration of flavored mentats. Each requires a science check of 50.
"Focus"; This Sweetrolls expansion introduces a new item that only existed in the New Vegas game files as a pipboy icon. I assumed they were eyedrops, so I made eyedrops. Requires a science check of 30.
[Lore Explanation]:
-The Gecko Egg's yolk is used to moisten the Sweetroll and support it's structure so it's not so crumbly and brittle.
-Sugar Bombs are broken down into sugar dust that can be reused for a sugar ingredient.
-The filling in Fancy Lads Snack Cakes is extracted and added with sugar dust and water to make frosting.
-The Milk Bottle of course, holds milk. If that doesn't make any sense to you, the Black Coffee Recipe from Honest Hearts, just requires a Coffee Mug, Coffee Pot, Coyote Tobacco Chew and Honey Mesquite Pod. Where is the roasted coffee beans? Where is the Milk content for the Milk Bottle? Bethesda: "I guess we'll just leave it to the player's imagination since it is an RPG game after all."
-Do I really have to explain the other ingredients?
-Now before you start making suggestions, I will not make a Sweetroll recipe for Deathclaw Eggs or any other eggs for that matter.
-First of all, Deathclaw Eggs are better off just being for omelettes. Second of all, because of the FEV injected into Deathclaws, who knows what will happen to it's yolk. And Third, Geckos aren't as mutated compared to their far deadlier reptile chameleon cousins, which could indicate they may still have some good yolk for baking at least.
-I also have a great reason why I shouldn't do other eggs as well. Since birds and reptiles are actually animals that produce the most yolk out of all egg laying lifeforms out there, it makes sense for gecko eggs to be used for their yolk. And I know for a fact that insects have insufficient amount of yolk in their eggs. Not good for baking at all. As for Lakelurks, sure, I guess it could probably work since they descended from snapping turtles, but they're not snapping turtles anymore, they look more humanoid than anything; What if the egg was just a whole fetus surrounded by an egg shell. As for nightstalkers, they may be half-coyote and half-rattlesnake, but they're still not natural. I'm not even sure whats really in their eggs, might be the same way for lakelurks seeing how they're both half mammal and half reptile.
-To be honest, I really don't want to do the work for other species anyways, so I took an easier route by just explaining this.
[When Crafting Sweetrolls & Beverages At Campfire]:
For these recipes, you need to use a Campfire.

Ice Cold Beverages requires a Science Check of at least 80 AND the Ice Chemist Perk (unlocked at Level 8 at Science 80) to make beverages ice cold; helps lower alcohol dehydration. The following drinks can be made ice cold:

[Installation]:
Automatic Installation:
1. Vortex Download.
2. Report if it does not install as intended.
Manual Installation:
1. Extract the Sweetrolls to your preferred destination.
2. Open your Fallout New Vegas/Data Folder.
3. Place Contents from Sweetrolls inside your Data Folder.
4. Run Fallout: New Vegas.
5. On your Fallout: NV Launcher, click Data and check the Sweetrolls.esp box.
6. That should be it.

Automatic Installation:

2. Report if it does not install as intended.
Manual Installation:
1. Extract the Sweetrolls to your preferred destination.
2. Open your Fallout New Vegas/Data Folder.
3. Place Contents from Sweetrolls inside your Data Folder.
4. Run Fallout: New Vegas.
5. On your Fallout: NV Launcher, click Data and check the Sweetrolls.esp box.
