Just a heads up for this and possible future projects you may or may not work on, you should use the '1stperson' variants of the textures from the game on the weapons you make in Nifskope, they are literally twice the size and look waaay better. The non-1stperson textures are for weapons that are in NPC's hands or on the ground, so they are too far away to see the lack of detail, and having smaller textures in those situations saves performance.
TL;DR, use the textures with the '1stperson' prefix on them from the base game. Your eyes will thank me.
This looks like a nice first weapon mod. I've some suggestions for you, if you don't mind: - Adjust it so that the player's finger is aligned with the trigger. You can see if your first screenshot that it clips through the middle of the gun as it is. Hopefully if you do that, the other hand doesn't end up clipping through the gun instead! - Tell us the stats in the description. Taking a picture of the weapon in the Pip-Boy is also helpful, although damage varies by the Guns skill. - Tag your file so it is easier for people looking for mods like this to find. - Include a first person picture. Anyway, nice job. Hopefully we'll see you keep working on mods.
Yeah, it's a pain since I have to move it around but I can't find an option to center it or the like in blender, plus it's a pistol using rifle animations, so I need to adjust the grip too I'll get on the picture soon with the stats too Also working on a quest mod rn, but I'll have other stuff out on the side
The easiest way to center it is to use a weapon from the base game as a template, like the Marksman Carbine or something else, you can do it in Blender by importing both weapons, moving your weapon into place in Edit Mode, then deleting the Marksman Carbine and then exporting
Looks alright for a first attempt. Just a suggestion, maybe the marksman rifle barrel or assault carbine barrel would look a little better together with the 10mm? Like i said just a suggestion. Good luck on future weapons man.
Yeah, thanks, I thought about that but I wanted to test my ability to mix a bunch of weapons. Made another one for a quest mod that'll take a bit, but I'll include it separately with leveled lists for people who want it to not be unique
