While I like the fact that Obsidian was kind enough to give Dead Money players easy access to night vision with Ghost Sight, I dislike the neon green overlay the ghost vision effect uses. Therefore I created two mods, both involved in replacing the neon green with other effects instead. The archive in this download contains two .esp files, each one a different replacer:
FNV-Ghost Sight Replacer-Sneak Sight.esp will replace the neon green overlay with the crisp grays and reds used by the Elite Riot Helmet from the Lonesome Road DLC. The crafting recipe and duration remain the same. This file requires the both Dead Money and Lonesome Road DLCs to work.
FNV-Ghost Sight Replacer-Cateye.esp will replace the neon green overlay with the soft, bright blue of the Cateye effect from vanilla New Vegas. Crafting recipes and duration also remain the same. This version only requires Dead Money.
Remember to only use ONE mod at a time. If you use both the best case scenario is it just removes Ghost Sight as an item, worst case it crashes. Just add your chosen mod to your Fallout New Vegas/Data file, and activate through the launcher.
