About this mod

Adds Fallout 1 & 2 tracks into New Vegas without doing much replacing, and removes them from where they don't fit.

Changelogs
This mod that I made for personal use (and definitely didn't start and then abandon for 2 years,) puts the classic tracks from Fallout 1 and 2 into locations if I thought they could fit, and removes the tracks from where they don't. Unlike other mods, this does NOT replace the original tracks from Inon Zur - at least, not yet. Hoover Dam, Caesar's Tent, and most NCR/Legion camps are specifically untouched. All of the tracks are already in your game files, so it's just a plugin.
Additionally, the tracks will continue playing in combat, just like the classic games.

Most notable changes:
-No more Metallic Monks and Second Chance in completely unfitting places
-Brotherhood music for the Brotherhood
-Khan music for the Great Khans
-Moribund World, Second Chance, and Desert Wind for your exploring out in the Mojave Desert
-No more Radiation Storm in the Lucky 38 Presidential Suite; just Dream Town for now
-Dream Town for peaceful or serene places, like Novac, and Goodsprings with positive reputation
-Desert Wind for those dead, dangerous, or creepy places in the middle of nowhere
-Industrial Junk and Biggest Little City in the World for Freeside and North Vegas
-All-Clear Signal for The Strip North Gate
-BONUS: Originally intended tracks for Freeside and Jacobstown
-In general, classic tracks for locations that have appropriate atmosphere or function
The full list of changes is in the Docs section.

What I might do next:
-Changes to music based on faction rep conditionals
-Trimming of unneeded FNV tracks in certain key locations to increase the chance of the classic ones playing - especially if a place is likely to only be visited a few times
I'm currently doing a playthrough with it right now, and tweaking it as I go. There are a few slip-ups I've noticed. Sorry.
- I'm actually just making a full Music Overhaul right now because I'm on a tweaking power trip and am passionate about soundtracks

DISCLAIMER: The large majority of audio markers in the game use generic, shared media location controllers. Especially DLC locations. So if a track seems out of place,
it's probably using one of those. This should be a rarer occurrence, hopefully. If it bothers you, I recommend some snipping with FNVEdit.
My modding knowledge consists of simple editing with GECK and xEdit, and I don't want to be overwriting cells, so I don't plan to change implementation to work around this unless somebody explains it to me like I'm 5.

Compatibility:
Obviously, mods that try to do the same or similar things shouldn't be used alongside this one, because one of them is going to get overwritten.
Mods that add new locations might use the location controllers that I've edited, in which case they'd be affected by the changes.
I know Music Recovery does a few of the same edits, and more. If you prefer that mod's implementation, just load this before it.

Installation:
Requires all 4 main DLC.
Install the mod the same way you would any other with Mod Organizer 2. For other mod managers, switch to using Mod Organizer 2. Seriously. The load order shouldn't matter. Put it low, I guess.
This should be safe to uninstall, because I don't see how it could possibly affect your savegame. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Enjoy!
