What this does:
After comlpetion of quest "Crazy, Crazy, Crazy", Neil can now be hired as a permanent companion.
Once Tabitha has been dealt with (whatever the outcome), you'll find Neil hanging around his shack as usual.
Neil has the following features:
- Lore friendly new look (optional),
- Full Companion Wheel support,
- Perk,
- His own companion-grade weapons,
- Fully voiced dialogue with lip sync,
- Moveable home marker (fire location),
- Stealth-Boy use,
- Essential Flag switch,
- JIP CCC Avatar.
- Optional Project Nevada stealth patch
Details:
Hiring Neil will give you the perk "Fearsome Shadow", which will summon a "Mysterious Nightkin" whenever your health drops below 20% in combat.
For balance, Stealth-Boy use is locked behind a hard speech challenge that can only be attempted once a day.
The dialogue option will show up if either you or Neil have one or more Stealth-Boy's in your inventories.
Once the challenge has been passed, Neil will use it whenever you sneak as long as he has a Stealth-Boy.
If you're using Project Nevada, the optional patch will allow Neil to mirror both your Stealth-Boy and Stealth-Suit cloaking.
Until his home-marker has been moved, he will return to his shack on Black Mountain by default.
This mod should be safe to load before, during, or after after completion of "Crazy, Crazy, Crazy" without any issues.
