Hey I know this mod is getting onto three years old now, so I'm not holding much hope to an answer... But I was wondering if you could help me change the Laser RCW beam back to red. I think this mod is perfect, but I prefer the beam being red. I tried replacing the textures of the rechargeable RCW with the vanilla RCW and since that didn't work I'm at a loss of what to do...

I dont even remember what color it is, but you edit the projectile in the .esp file back to the original, whatever it may be

First off, I really appreciate you replying to a comment on such an old mod. I really appreciate it. However, do you have any idea what I would need to change and to what? When I opened the file, it was pretty incoherent to me... I've never really moded a game before beyond dragging and dropping files.

You open the .esp file in "geck" which can be found in the fallout new vegas game folder. All of the weapons from this should show at the top of the form list since I sorted all of mine with "00" at the front of them. Then you want to open the RerchargeRCW form and look for the tab "art and sound" You should see something about "projectile model" or something along those lines, its been quite a while since ive used geck. Now heres where it gets kind of dicey. Once you find that, if you want to revert it back to the red one you have to extract that particular .nif file for the laser projectile from the new vegas models. The reason being if you click on the area where you change the .nif of the laser, and back out without selecting a file, it assumes you dont want anything there, rather than defaulting to the original. Extracting a .nif is not difficult, look into .bsa browser. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1756
When you find the original laser .nif file, put it anywhere you want, and navigate to it in the geck editor. File save and make sure not to delete or move that extracted .nif file, or the laser will be invisible and you will have to go in and manually restore the file path.

I'd recommend having what stats exactly have been changed in the description, so that you can compare them to their vanilla variants without having to download the mod and physically find all the guns and decide if the mod is balanced for your game or not. Nice work with the sceenshots of the location and new textures.
