I've included options for 10,000 to 100,000 caps per level. Pick only one. Editing the text file does not change the value of caps...I've tried. You have to use GECK to do something similar to this. I tried "Level Up Machine" (https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/52831/?), but his mod didn't work so I made this. If anyone thinks this is a copy of his or anyone else's mod; 1. Read the statement in the third sentence and 2. Come at me bro.
