Wonderful work! It's one of those mods I only wanted to test for a bit, but ended up keeping because it's just too good :-) The new books add just the right amount of that extra quality, detail and color to the scenery, without going too far or being crazy colorful or anything intrusive like that.
Thank you, one day when my brain isnt fried from RL I will get to the other books that are in the game as well. RL for the past 5 years took a toll on me...not medically just mentally....I will prob do the rest of them least make them not as groady...groaty... grodie...yucky in other words.
If you want these new UV maps, where the books have unique sides, along with Precision Clutter's collision meshes it's easy enough to do yourself with NifSkope. Open a mesh from this mod, copy the NiTriStrips branches over to the same mesh from the Precision Clutter mod, under its top node. Delete the original NifTriStrips branch, save and then repeat for the remaining meshes. Tedious but it only took ten minutes.
I dont what I did but I did a fresh install to get rid of some shaders and now I cant get either of these to work or MG's clutter. The textures just wont load! Ive reinstalled mods plus the game plus my manager. Im just about done with this stupid game! lol
This mod has been working for me for the last 2 months until today. Beautiful mod and I want it back bad. I would have a really hard time playing still knowing what I had! Im full immersion and the original textures are extremely bad!!!!
This is a wonderful mod, and excellent authors too! I just note that the books in Doc Mitchell's house are upside down. I assume this is the case everywhere. Could you please fix this little problem? Thank you very much. I love your retextures!
LOL...you realize the textures aren't really tech upside down. The books are upside down not the textures. You can take those books, and move them use the Z button and move them. That is how bethesda loaded them into the game, not my doing... heh. Or tech that is how Doc Mitchel wanted them to look. Cause is a lazy doctor if you want to RP that.
I don't know, it is impossible to see the difference in vanilla game. The books can be placed in any way. How can you be sure that the books are actually upside down? Thanks anyway.
Maybe because the vanilla textures didn't have a preferred direction at all? ;) Maybe someone at Obsidian was like...mmmm you know what we need? Drunken books!
The spine of the book is on the left, that can indicate up and down too. That is how you tell...eeh...atleast considering it's set in a westernised area!
"set in a westernised area!" So true where everyone drinks whisky and rye... and leaves books upside down cause they are too drunk to know which way is up and down.
Explains bethesda obsidian to a T really though... LOL!
@LeoYeh that as well... drunken madness! MADNESS I TELL YOU!

None are for me.
Can you take a picture and PM me it so I can see which one you are talking about?
You are most welcome. Thank you.
