Version 1.2.0 introduces some experimental sorting mods for the aid and misc categories only. It would be helpful if people could find the time to try them out and let me know what they think.
In the INI:
iMode=0 is the default mod behaviour, adding your custom prefixes to the enabled item categories.
iMode=1 only covers aid and misc items (so far). The prefixes will only be visible in the PipBoy inventory.
iMode=2 also only covers aid and misc. No prefixes are added, and instead items are sorted under separators in the item list, like Aid and Drinks.
Note to iMode=2 Users If you use lStewieAl's Tweaks, you must set bHideMiscQuestItems = 0 in that mod's INI file, else you will not be able to see the dividers in the misc inventory tab.
For some reason the La Fantoma magazine gets consistently sorted under Utilities in Mode 2 for me, while being correctly shown as Mag in the other modes.
Also as a suggestion, some sort of combined option would be nice where Mode 2 works inside the pip boy while Mode 1 or 0 can be enabled only for containers and barter.
I have this weird bug with mode0 sometimes I found randomly on the world an item under the category BOOK called <no name>, I can loot it and trow it in the floor but not much else, here are some images ( I put a normal book beside it to remark that books seem to be working) https://ibb.co/pLQKFrh https://ibb.co/YRZ8FS5 https://ibb.co/BZfrd1s I like mode0 cause I can see the tags when moving things from my inventory to a container, or when looting, which mode 1 or 2 don't have, it's there's a way to have mode0 on looting window and mode2 in the pitboy, or something similar? Also I liked to know what that <no name> item is and how can I fix it, Thanks!
Can't get mod to work. Maybe write how to install it? Because putting the esp into the data folder and checking it in the loader obviously isn't correct.
NVSE is installed correctly 100% (not sure how to install it wrong. It's literally just dumbed into the main directory. If it wasn't I wouldn't be able to start the game) So Mod organiser 2 is a requirement for this mod? Maybe you should add that to the requirement section. And it's strange why you would make it so it only works with that specific mod organiser as EVERY SINGLE FONV mod works with Fallout Mod Manager.
I used this mod in the past and it worked just fine. Not sure what was changed for it to be broken.
not saying that switching to mod organizer 2 is gonna fix this specific instance, but using it reduces the chances of things not installing properly, unlike a mod manager made 15 years ago
If you don't like MO2, give Wrye Flash a try. It's got that old-school, write to the root folder feel. (Don't have to start a flame war over everything ffs. We're modding a dead game old enough to drink--grow up.)
Hello, i've encountered an issue with this mod that when you craft bleak venom or any other poison on campfire, that it does not show up in your inventory when using this mod. 😔 Is there any way to fix this issue?
Works well for me! I used to have my own sorting mod but it was pretty inelegant compared to this; basically just renaming everything directly.
One question though: is there a way to make our own categories of stuff to be sorted differently from the categories that are already in the mod? I ask because I used to have my grenades and mines sorted separately from all the other explosive weapons, and would like to have it that way again with this mod.

When I start a new game, the mod does not work. I have to exit the game, reinstall the mod, and then it works as it should.
I have all the necessities (I followed the Viva New Vegas guide, so everything is installed/loaded properly).
Minor annoyance, but wonder why this happens.

Please tell me what I'm missing.
