One of Joshua's recruitment dialogue options just says "JGSurvival" in-game, I looked in the GECK, and it's only the one where you're successful in convincing him. I'd recommend fixing that.
to second previous posts, companion Joshua repeats his post-combat barks way too often, the Survival recruitment option does indeed show up as simply JGSurvival, and the Speech requirement doesn't have a bracketed Skill requirement prefix
I installed misión mojave and NVAC yesterday and when i launched my game, the camera turned to Joshua and then he said "Let's go find Daniel. Tomorrow will be here soon enough. And there is much to do.", then we stood up there, i cant move or do anything, so i turned plaer control with the commands but now he doesnt follow me, just stand there, he can travel but wont follow.

I'm on hardcore and I found out that his formid is xx000add for those interested in making him essential.
setessential xx000add 1
Replace xx with your mod index number for this mod in your setup.
Had to add it and magic companion ammo by console.
