Thanks for the sweet comments, guys! I'm glad you are enjoying these.

The update is small, but I went ahead and uploaded it anyway. I will probably not be doing anything with these in the future.

Edit: Definitely will not be doing anything with these in the future. My hard drive was bad and I didn't back up my mods, so the only way I can really edit these is to download my mod and edit what I still can. It's kind of a PITA.

While I haven't managed to get these hairs to work in-game for me yet, I want to thank you for providing instructions as to how to add them to a custom race! I'm new to GECK and it's been super helpful, even if I haven't managed to do it right so far.

I'm so happy the instructions helped you! Honestly, I regret adding them because it seems to have confused more people than it helped. If you want, you can try the auto patcher that should do everything for you when you load the game. I've only ever used the first one, but I think Hair Patcher 2 works the same way. If it doesn't work for the custom race you're using for some reason, or you just want to make your own patch for learning purposes, feel free to message me with questions. :)

Hello! I realize this is a late reply, but if you are still interested in getting these hairs to work, it sounds like the meshes aren't loading in your game for some reason. If the meshes folder is in the data folder, try using the auto patcher here and see if that helps.

Thanks for porting these! I love this bun, it is seriously the best hairstyle I've ever seen in both FO4 and New Vegas, so glad I can use it in NV.

I thought so too! And thank you for the thank you! Glad to hear someone is still getting enjoyment out of this. (It's been a month, sorry; I thought the nexus was supposed to notify me when someone comments???)

Nope, you're good to go. :) Texture replacers work without ESPs, so there's nothing that conflicts.

Why can't this be a simple download?

Do you use ZZJay's hairs? Or one of the older hair mods for NV? They're done exactly the same way. Every single cosmetic mod for NV works like this because the .esps don't work together. Only one mod at a time will show up in the character creation menu, unless you manually merge the mods or use NVSE and the hair patcher. If you need help installing those mods, I'll try to help you, but please understand this isn't something I can do for you because I don't know what mods each individual user is using.

You can either use the .esp provided and only use this hair mod, or try to follow the instructions in the readme.

Search for 'Hair Patcher', I use it and the hairstyles were there without having to merge any files.

It's not a bug. Please read the description, guys. The included .esp is ONLY if you don't use any other cosmetic mods. Either use the auto-patcher: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/61538 (thank you for mentioning it, Arbmachar) or read how to merge it yourself in the GECK.
