Thank you! Unfortunately, I'm not very active in modding these days, so I can't promise that I'll be able to implement the TODO list items, but I'll be checking the forum daily, so please let me know if you have any questions or ideas. Happy modding
It seems like the Filename field always returns it in all lower-case. But in game it seems like they are case-sensitive and won't play without the case as it is in GECK. Can this be made to show the actual case?
Also, is it possible to get the filename GECK needs and show it even if the file doesn't exist? That way I can create all the files and get the filenames for them all from this without opening every dialog individually in GECK which is slow?
The GECK (and CK for FO4/Skyrim) does not have audio file names in the plugin, assumes file names with certain rules and refers to audio files on the Windows file system. You're right, the Windows file system allows for case sensitive filenames, but it is not case sensitive when it comes to verifying the existence of a file. Here is my answer to your question based on the above:
(1) Can this be made to show the actual case? Technically it is possible, but at present it is assumed to be case-insensitive, and all file names are converted to lowercase to facilitate duplicate checking in the tool.
(2) is it possible to get the filename GECK needs? It is difficult to do so at the moment. As mentioned above, the GECK and CK assume certain rules for audio filenames, but their naming rules are different and I have not been able to identify them. GECK and Skyrim seem to basically combine quest IDs, topic IDs, and form IDs, and the behavior when the length of the file name exceeds the limit is so complicated that I couldn't identify it.
After using this for an hour or so, I don't have words for how excellent this is or how much easier my life will be for the next few weeks. Thank you for making it and providing it.
I can't seem to make this work. I have all required dependencies installed and running Windows 10 64-bit, but the UI doesn't appear. It creates a couple of folders, though, but no UI to be seen.
I've tried rebooting, running it as administrator and even running it under compatibility mode to to no avail.

I see on the Skyrim page that renaming the files during the export is on the TODO list. It would be useful!
