Hello everybody! This is a quick request I picked up the other day - a simple mod that adds some craftable copies of vanilla chems that members of the Legion can use, available for purchase through a unique merchant as well.

The file requires no DLC and has been cleaned with FNVEDIT, so it should be safe for everybody to use. Still, you should always make a backup save before installing ANY mod, in case something goes wrong.


>WHAT
10 new consumables have been added to the game - copies of some popular chems that Legion players can use freely. These remedies can be crafted once your Survival skill is over 25 with natural ingredients adventurous adventurers can collect around the Mojave, and can also be bought from Albucius, a new merchant at The Fort, for a relatively affordable price.

The items added are listed below...

- Soporific Balm (Rad-X)
- Soothing Ointment (Stimpak)
- Bracing Agent (Buffout)
- Stimulating Unction (Mentats)
- Energizing Poultice (Jet)
- Rarefied Salve (Cateye)
- Focusing Paste (Steady)
- Invigorating Compound (Turbo)
- Acerbic Draught (Psycho)
- Rousing Concoction (Slasher)

These consumables have no addictions and are classified as food, so they'll appear under AID in the crafting menu. The effects are meant to be exactly the same as the vanilla chems - if you have mods that make changes to the original ones, mine may differ somewhat. Your mileage may vary.

Being designed for a Legion playthrough, these items may seem sort of cheaty for some. They are also only purchasable at The Fort. Take it or leave it.

As this was a request that has been fulfilled, I'm not really planning on expanding this at the moment, but if there's any vanilla chem you'd like to have copied here, let me know and I'll see if I can find the time to add it in. Otherwise, If you want to change something like the prices or effects, do it yourself with the GECK or FNVEDIT.

>HOW
To install, extract the contents of your downloaded file to your "Steam/SteamApps/Common/Fallout New Vegas/Data" folder. Then activate the mod through your preferred launcher by ticking the checkbox next to the esp. Or you can use your mod manager of choice to download the mod automatically. To uninstall, simply delete the files from your Data folder, and you're good to go. Have fun!
