If you didn't look at the description all the ESP that are provided in this mod must be at the bottom of the load order or else it doesn't work. Report a bug if the problem still persist.

Hey, just finished downloading your fix after installing FCO3 and NVR2.3.1 respectively, and unfortunately pink heads are still persisting for both random NPCs and NPCs with names and such. I placed both ESPs at the bottom of my list, reinstalled FCO and NVR3 twice and still no dice. I also do not have any mods that add or modify NPCs either. Any ideas?

Have you checked that the files/textures from FCO3 has been downloaded? That's where the ESP is directing the races towards those files.
      EDIT: Make sure:
      - FCO/Redesign Textures have been correctly installed
      - Archive invalidated is on
      - In documents/mygames/FalloutNV in Fallout.ini check if this line exist/is set to 1. bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles=1
if bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles is not there copy and paste "bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles=1" without quotations under general.

If textures are not installed properly; archive invalidated not activated and bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles=0 then you will experience texture errors and pinkheads for mods even without FCO and Redesigned.

What you mean exactly? I'm currently dealing with same problem as he is.

Oh wait nevermind, apologies, found out the bloadfacegenheadegtfiles file was on 1 and the problem stopped.

This actually really helped and got rid of the pink faces for all NPCs. The problem is that the player character still has a pink face. I tried creating a new game and it still didn't work. Is there any way to fix this?

Are you using a custom race, and which race would that be. I don't have any problems with the player textures when testing the mod (it could be a FCO race from another mod that is causing the problem link me the mod and I might see what I can do).

A way to fix your mod would be to go on GECK tick the ESP of the mod and check the race and make sure that the race has a texture attached to it. If not assign the texture to the race to make sure that there isn't a missing texutre e.g. pink heads, clothes etc.

EDIT: This only fixes Fallout Character Overhaul and Redesigned.

I tried fixing this but with no luck. I changed load order tree times, i guess it conflicts with AWOP, because AWOP adds new NPCs. The thing i do not understand is even if i put FCO before/after it still does not fix pink faces. Will try to reinstall FCO again. But i doubt it gonna work, if i disable FCO i cant load any saved game. I only have those 2 mods that affect NPCs, rest of them is for armor, clothing, land textures, flora and creatures. Also disabling "fixes" does not fix the problem.

Everyone's faces are white, for some reason? For white characters it doesn't look that weird, but I mean e v e r y o n e has white faces, with their bodies staying the right shade. Is this... normal?

      Moved to bugs
Thanks for realising this but there are some missing texture for other races I'll look more indepth into this. Sergant Killborne is African American so he shouldn't be white like the game shows.

It's probably just the amount of mods I have active (I am under the max plugin limit) but every time I enable the pink face fix for NVR 3 all my textures bug out upon fast traveling, and I get errors in my game. If I enable the FCO version everything is fine. Any ideas?

This was made to fix 3.0. NVR3 was made to be used with an older version of FCO v2.3.1
I've never heard of anyone using 3.0 with NVR3 even though its recommended in the description.

My install order for FCO is:
      1). 3.0
      2). 3.01
3). Fallout Character Overhaul Pink Faces fix (first main file only)
4). FCO - the Last Few Edits
5). (Disable the Russel ESP file unless you are using him)

I'm only using vanilla bodies haven't tested this install order with body replacers. Only bugs I've had so far is Barton Thorn has a vanilla face and the Lonesome Drifter's eyes are messed up. Other then that, everything looks good on my end no pink faces.

Yeah mods that are affected by FCO might give them pink heads. It would be best to disable FCO npc replacer if the mods you're using adds more npcs. Instead use New Vegas Redesigned as an alternate for vanilla NPCs.
Also make sure that the ESPs I created are at the bottom of the load order.

This mod seems to have fixed most of the pinkheads: however certain npcs, like male locals and specifically the NCR troops hanging outside of Gomorah have the pink heads still (other ncr npcs are fine, and the gamblers faces in the casinos are fixed as well). Is it possible this is due to having mods like freeside open, and cut content mods like outside bets and restoration of unused npcs could be the source of the problem?

Also FCO worked fine for a long time with no pinkhead issues until something weird happened with my game and some saves corrupted. After that even on new games it was still an issue. Also I don't have Redesigned installed

Update for anyone else who is having similar issues: I fixed it by installing Redesigned 3 and FCO together, plus the pink face fix for both mods. Ugly pink faces finally gone!

Yeah some mods outside of new vegas (and New Vegas redesigned/FCO) will have pink heads and that would mean I would have to download them see the problem and fix them. Sorry but I would like to restirct my mod to FCO and New Vegas Redesigned.

It should probably work with most mods that doesnt conflict with New Vegas Redesigned/Character overhaul mod. However, there is a chance that FCO can make thier heads pink (should just test it out and if it does make the heads pink you can always disable the FCO that replace NPCs)

November 2018 Edit: It works like normal with or without FCO.
