THROWABLE WEAPON FIXES



1. DESCRIPTION

This mod is a collection of fixes (and some cosmetic tweaks) I made over the time concerning throwable weapons. Those include all types of throwable explosive devices, throwable knives, hatchets, tomahawks, inversal/proton axes, etc.... 

Changes were NOT made to weapon stats, so no damage increase or anything. Only stat change is a slightly bigger Fire Bomb blast radius.



Fixes and cosmetic changes made:

- (v1.1) Time Bomb (and GRA variant) has a new ticking sound, new collision and a dial animation is restored.

- (v1.1) YUP fixes included.

- All throwable explosive devices have new colliders, better collision detection and less bouncing, so chances of them going through other objects are minimal.

- Frag grenades, Flash bangs, Incediary grenades, etc.... have tweaked projectile model with no pins or levers.

- Grenades have proper collision sound that use actual "grenade impact" sound. By default, they use "weapon drop" sound.

- Explosives that are made out of tin cans have different sound that matches the material they are made of.

- All grenades rotate in the air and the projectile position is tweaked so the angle at which they're thrown matches the static "in-hand" model.

- Fixed rotation problem with Knives, Hatches, Inversal/Proton axes, Tomahawks... where their projectile freaks out in mid-air by disabling rotation in their "Projectile" form and adding rotation animation directly inside their nif model.

- Throwable knives no longer leave two knives at the impact spot.

Knives travel slightly faster.

- Knives use "knife impact" sound. By default, they used "bullet impact" sound.

- Proper organic impact blood color depending on the creature for knives, hatches and tomahawks. By default, Insects, Glowing Ones had red blood.

- Smoke/fire that throwables like Dynamite and Fire Bomb emitt is preserved on the scene after the explosion and then dissipates. By default, as soon as they explode, the smoke trail disappears.

- Throwing animation that Dynamite and Fire Bomb use will no longer cause 1st person camera to twitch.

- New particle emitters for Fire Bomb (flame and black smoke) and Dynamite (sligtly thicker smoke that leaves loops when rotating in air).

- Fire Bomb explodes on impact and has a new "bottle smash" sound.

- Nuka Grenade has a light blue sparkling particle emitter and a fizzing sound when thrown (I asume that's a Quantum fizzing inside).

- MFC Grenade has a red glowing light where light bulb is.

- MFC Cluster mini-mines have the same red glowing bulb as the MFC grenade, but when disarmed it turns off. Also added the disarm sound.

- Both MFC Cluster and Grenade have more bouncy projectiles. I asumed the black band around them is a rubber.

- Proton Axes have a new particle emitter that leaves a trail of blue sparks that slowly dissipates.

- Inversal Axes have new particle emitter similar to Proton Axes, but are purpleish and have more turbulence (my way of showing that they are stronger).

- MFC Grenade ground object collision fixed (model and collider were about 20 cm appart)

MOD IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ANY MOD THAT CHANGES THE PROJECTILES FOR THROWN WEAPONS.
THIS IS INTENDED FOR VANILLA GAME.

MODS THAT CHANGE WEAPON STATS, BUT DO NOT CHANGE PROJECTILES ARE COMPATIBLE.


2. INSTALLATION

Use your favorite mod manager to install it. Manual installation is not recommended.



3. UNINSTALLATION

Same as installation, but in reverse.
