A nice addition would be to remove their head explode chance, which is illogically and comically high, you can basically punch their huge bony horns/heads and have them explode. (I think they have a decapitation model issue, which is why that was done, but it is stupid.)
Can't remember who it was, but some modder did port Oblivion horse riding to FNV, for showcasing only as importing assets between games is forbidden. Quite impressive, he even managed to enable weapon firing while riding. Felt like Red Dead Redemption!
Since I'm in the process of retweaking skeletons, I was thinking of making a separate skeleton for little bighorners. If you want, I can send it to you and you can add it in.
