Seriously some incredible stuff here, thank you for your public work, its spawned some incredible projects that shine as bight as these big city lights youve made
Buddy, this is the coolest damn thing I've ever found on this site! Thanks for making it, and sharing it, and please make more similar stuff in the future! There's tons of cool vintage neon signs besides what's on the Vegas strip that would be right at home in the Wasteland...Gas Stations, Car Dealers, Mfg. Facilities, Hotels, Motels, Restaurants, etc., etc...Neon was everywhere back in the day...Anyhow, good stuff dude, glad I found this mod!
Hey mate, the signs are looking great, I've come across a slight problem though, When i finish adding them to the game in the geck and load up the game they don't appear, and when i open the geck again they have disappeared from there too. If it helps I've got the pre-done .esp file and that file doesn't show up in my mods parent files list when I look at it.
If I understand the problem correctly then the geck isn't saving the changes you make when you load up both your own mod's .esp (presumably the active file) and the LVCGeck.esp. If that's the case then I have three ideas: 1. convert the LVCGeck.esp to a .esm so your mod can have it as a parent file. 2. With your mod as the active file, manually add each sign you want to the geck as a static mesh (Al Chestbreach made a good video incase you need help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5iRahdTtWIw&feature=youtu.be) 3. Set the LVCGeck as the active file and make the changes you want to that file, though you'll need both the LVCGeck.esp and your own mod's .esp loaded in-game for it to work. Hope these help
This mod is incredible, I really do love it, blah blah blah. What I want to know is if you'll provide any buildings with the signs? Cause apart from a few signs the architectural is as Icon as the Sign most of the time, particularly with the Fremont casinos. I think that if someone plans on using these signs in a mod (((((((like myself))))))) They'll need to use something else than the generic buildings provided in the vanilla game. If you need my idea (which you prolly don't) size down the buildings a ways so that they can be used in the game with minimal strain. What I mean is in reality the fremont casinos are about the size of say, Bison Steve from what I can tell. Instead make them the size of Vikki and Vance.
Thanks and I definitely have a few buildings planned, namely several of the casino towers (Sands, Dunes, etc.). Other than those, making a new building would depend on four things really: the number/quality of photos I have that I can use as references and how large the building/complicated it is. Still, I do have at least some buildings that I can do in the near future (La Concha, Golden Gate, Silver Palace, etc.). Until I can start rolling out new buildings modders will have to be creative in the ways that they choose to use the signs.

I have downloaded both resource files, and optional .esp but nothing appears in the game...
I am using the Airport terminals for the La Concha motel. IMO, the biggest problem is actually finding room to place things...
(Also, I feel like i should apologize about not uploading any of my stuff yet... Sorry.)
