Would it be possible to color the sights on the rear and front post to black on the Silver/Default and Chrome models? I LOVE this mod, you've basically brought my gun into the game, but the iron sight looks off being silver/chrome with black dots. Most aftermarket and low-light/night sights have the small white circles with green in them, or the base iron sight like on mine, which are solid black. Is there also a way to tone down the audio on the gunshots some? Even IRL it's not that loud lol
Hello people! This gun attracts me a lot, so I seriously intend to download the files and install them. By the way! Usually I unpack the compact file directly into the "data" folder and let the PC put things in their place automatically. So far everything has worked very well, including the more massive mods. This does not seem to me to be very heavy. To install it correctly I can do as for all the others, right?
It's my first one about a single weapon. I have other "special" weapons that derive from the mods I have, for example: Bounties 3 has left me with the so-called "Sweet revenge" which in practice is a black 44 Magnum (in truth it looks a lot more like a Colt Navy of the Wild West :) ) and several others. Could it be that the presence in my inventory of these "invented" weapons may create compatibility problems with the Desert Eagle (Cynthia for friends)?
P.S. Ah, right!! I almost forgot! I was reading that reference is made to NMM for the installation. Well I use FOMM, and I'm very satisfied. Attention! I do not use it for installation! Only for the management of the loading order. As I explained I install using the dear old "extract here". It should also be valid for this mod, I tell the truth? Thank you!!
There is also another not perfect detail in your gun: when it fires there is no animation of the movement of the cart as it is when you insert the new loader. This defect combined with the slightly loud sound will probably make me swap this mod with another Desert Eagle mod. Sorry
it uses vanilla animations. If there's a vanilla animation problem then it's either a conflict or some files on your end that need sorted. Hard to crack a bug if it's not custom animation assets
Did you actually based this deagle on an airsoft version? Just curious. :P Slide doesn't go back as far as it should; irl this would prevent the brass from ejecting completely. Well anyways it doesn't matter cuz I love it, endorsed!
The slide doesn't lock back far enough because of the animations. It would require a new animation set for the slide to rack fully. This was just based off the normal desert eagle with some minor unique changes.
Yeah I figured that out as it happens to every non-revolver pistols in-game, but yeah what I meant to say was the slide stopping notch (the one that catches the slide stop) should be farther from the slide serrations if you know what I mean; afaik no real life desert eagle besides airsoft has its slide stop notch near the serrations. Eh not like it matters because I like it anyway and its still a desert eagle, no matter what caliber I'm a fan of deagles.
PS: My cousin owns an airsoft replica, I was able to compare it with a real steel version that's why I able to notice such small details. :P
Ah right I get ya. That was probably a modeling error on my behalf. Made this when I was in early learning of making models. You'd probably realise with the way the frame tail is below the hammer.
I honestly didn't notice that till now, you could try editting it with nifskope and adjust its hammer's position (that'll probably mess up the uncocked position though xD).
Yeah the sound FX are pretty loud. I was meant to fix but finding the files again to re-upload is a nightmare. You can take the sound file and Lower it's volume in audacity or something similar. Literally takes only 5mins or less. Just save the sound as a .wav file and it will work.
Wow man, the gun looks freaking amazing! Great job! and could I possibly ask what visual mods you have installed from those screenshots? It kind of makes your game look like borderlands.
this gun helps me with those random deathclaws, especially on very hard mode. For people getting missing textures, try downloading the one if you moved your New Vegas folder.
I really need help. First i downloaded it through nmm and it says file cant be added and then i downloaded it manually and i put the esp in the right folder and when i go in game its just a big white exclamation point.
review on how to manually add files. you must install everything properly. By the spounds you only installed the esp. The NMM error is something new altogether, haven't had anyone report any nmm issues.
This thing is pretty fucking awesome, at first I wished the ammo for it were more available, but then again having a weapon like this right at start would be OP as f*#@
yes. its a game bug that originates from .50cal bullets in general from the game. i get it all the time whenever i use vats from anti mat. rifles or any other gun that uses 50cal bullets. i know there is a fix somewhere but not sure where or what its called. check ModDB people always upload random crap there.

It's Hitman's weapon animations. It's relatively easy to find on nexus or ModB
