Thank you so much for removing the hands from the Raider Sadist Armor! I've always hated it, but I'm hopeless in blender and couldn't remove them with nifskope.
I worked out how to correct the neck gap on the female version and I uploaded it. Thank you for doing the hard part!
I don't see it having been mentioned yet, so I figured I'd point something out in case anyone runs into the same issue.
The meshes included in the "Raider Sadist Armour - No Hands - Replacer 1.1" option have their texture directory set to "Textures\RaiderSadistNoHands\sadistnohandm~f.dds" The problem is that the "1.1" option is the only one that doesn't come bundled with those textures, so the armor won't display properly.
There are 2 solutions to this problem:
1. (Easy) Grab the modified black texture included in the mod (or alternatively the vanilla one if you have it on hand), copy it, rename it, and place it in the file path mentioned prior (although you'll obviously need to create the "RaiderSadistNoHands" folder yourself).
2. (Advanced) Open up the mesh with Nifskope, follow the tree: "0 NiNode -> 1 NiTriStrips -> 2 BSShaderPPLightingProperty -> 3 BSShaderTextureSet", look in the "Block Details" window, and change the file path for the first texture option back to the vanilla "textures\armor\raiderarmor02\outfitm~f.dds" Repeat these steps for each of the "NiTriStrips" nodes that link to the mod's file path (leave the "gore" and "upperbody" fille paths alone unless you want to get interesting results).
It should also be worth noting that the "1.1" option is the only one that doesn't come with a modded "GO.NIF" world mesh, so dropping the armor on the ground will still have dismembered hands attached to it. It'd be great if BayK could make a quick hotfix for that option to bring it in line with the other two, but I doubt they'll even see this so ¯\_(¬_¬)_/¯
Just had the same issue. Honestly I made this so long ago that I wouldn't recommend using it anymore I'm a bit out of practice when it comes to new armors.
I have a request if you're still taking requests, it involves the sleeved combat armor, is there a way you could recreate the style of helmet used by the winterized combat armor helmet, and make all combat armor helmets like that (as an optional file i'd assume)
Hey! I'm the one that requested the Raider sadist armor changes, I was wondering if you could add another standalone set near the one in the saloon but with the default textures/color(Or revert the black one. up to you), I'd like to fiddle around with something and not changing the set for every raider wearing it when I do so would be grand, Thanks, hope you're well!
