Description:
This mod adds a scratchmade Pistola Campo-Giro de 9mm Modelo 1913 to the game under the name Iberian Pistol. I chose to name it as such to follow the vanilla game's naming conventions, but if you'd rather have it called "Campo-Giro" all you have to do is open up FNVEdit and change the name of the weapon record. The weapon has a slightly higher damage output than the standard 9mm to make up for its lower ammunition capacity. It's also got a bit less item HP (the gun was/is a pain to disassemble), and weighs a tiny bit less. Otherwise it's mostly the same, but a lot more uncommon. I've added an easily acessible version in Doc Mitchell's bedroom at 50% HP, and it's been added to the appropriate leveled and perk lists.

The Campo-Giro (named after its inventor, Colonel Don Venancio López de Ceballos y Aguirre, the Count of Campo-Giro) was Spain's first domestically produced selfloader, and was adopted by the Spanish Army after finding the Belgian Bergman-Bayard pistol unsuitable for military use. This is the version produced by Esperanza y Unceta Guernica previous to the Great War, with the characteristic black buffalo horn grip, button shaped safety switch and magazine release next to the triggerguard. During the great way, Esperanza y Unceta Guernica decided to halt production of the Campo-Giro in favor of taking ever increasing orders from France. When the production of the Campo-Giro resumed in 1916, the Count had made some improvements to the model and the reduced availability of black buffalo horn lead to the grip being made by wood instead.

The model and textures were all made by me, but I had help from Trentosaurus to export them and get them into the game (go check out his guns, he's amazingly good), and also got a lot of cool tips from him. I tried giving it a worn metal-like look, with some rust, because I figure a 450+ year old pistol would look rather worn down. Hope you like it.

All assets have been made by me from scratch, except the environment map. However, I'd like to thank Trentosaurus for being extremely helpful and generally awesome (seriously go check out his guns, they're all great) Without him, this mod would probably never have been released.
