A HALLOWEEN THEMED QUEST MOD
Legal Stuff:
The Lost Legion is a mod produced by JCDenton2012 which will provide a follow up, and possible redemption to ‘Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel’ perhaps best known as the ‘Black Sheep’ of the Fallout Franchise. I have made inquiries’ with Bethesda and know that Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel is considered non-canon and furthermore disavowed as part of the Fallout Timeline. To that effect, the official canon regarding ‘The City of Los’ is in current context considered irrelevant by Bethesda itself, and after some brief badgering I was advised merely to use Dallas as Los as I had originally intended by popular support on the Bethesda Forums. My point to this being, that Los Ybanez as being The City of Los is neither condoned nor condemned by the official license holder and I was advised to simply do as I pleased. This having been said, I still stand by my original debunk of Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel’s produced material, even though the source material itself is no longer considered official Fallout Lore.

Story:
Several weeks ago Caesar sent the entire Tenth Legion into an abandoned city within the Texan Wasteland in search of a Vault rumored to possess a weapon capable of unimaginable power. Shortly thereafter the Mid-Western Brotherhood of Steel launched a massive invasion of that exact same city. Ever since then… nothing has been heard from that city, and any who venture forth into the ruins never return alive. Now Dent needs your help. He wants you to recon the city and find out what exactly happened with the Legion and Brotherhood of Steel. Or… more to the point… his ‘Benefactors’ want to know what happened, in that city once named ‘LOS.’

Developers Notes: JC here, just wanted to let you know some details about this mod before you get started. Los, Dallas, is a big place. Design wise between the Corporate Vault, numerous Interiors, and Cityscape itself, this mod is slightly larger than Dead Money. You CAN complete the main questline without exploring everything that I built for this project, and trust me… I built a lot. Due to the nature of this mod being rather… well… ok, there is very little hand holding with this mod. In order to progress through the questline you will need to find the materials which open up the next areas in succession. Therefore, since I know some of you don’t like that sort of stuff; allow me to give some proper advice… look for dead bodies, tables with holotapes and keys, and quest arrows.  Furthermore, this packet contains some hidden spots… but not just the locations of my notorious Easter Eggs. As some of you very well know, on actual projects, I like to hide Easter Eggs, actual Easter Eggs, for people to find. There are 'a few' such eggs hidden around Los. Good luck
finding them all… you’re going to need it.

Mod Conflicts:
I renamed nothing while using the Vault 24 Resource because it appears as though no one else has used that resource and I therefore was first in line to properly make use of it. Therefore, you might have a mod conflict with another mod which uses the Vault 24 Resource… assuming such a mod exists. There are also constant CTD’s with Nevada Skies activated, so try disabling that mod before you do a play through. Boss Battles: There are two boss battles in this mod, and one of them is freaking HARD!! Needless to say, if you can’t beat a certain Paladin, then you sure won’t be able to kill the final boss of this mod. For the Beta, these bosses were scaled down for play testing purposes.Mod Size and Testers Notes:As stated earlier, The Lost Legion is roughly the same size as DLC The Pitt, and below are some play testing notes…

Beta Test Errors (Known) FREAKING READ THIS BEFORE YOU COMPLAIN IN THE COMMENTS!!·
+Mod Instability from NevedaSkies causing crashing while leaving the Lucky 38 and fast traveling to Camp McCarren. This…I confirmed and experienced chronically until I got into the actual city of Dallas. The incompatibility stems from the custom weather effects causing CTD’s. If you don’t want to disable your mod, you can try disabling all weather effects using the cheatmenu in the mod and waiting out the current weather effects. I had limited success using this method.

+Failure to auto-start the questline, affects some play testers… me, but not all. This can be bypassed by picking up the first note in the Lucky 38. Please see images if you have trouble locating it. Honestly, neither me nor the “Script God Jokerine :3” could figure out what caused this issue and believe me… we tried. Instead, he scripted another quest to start the main quest, and I triggered them both to activate, and somewhere in this “magic” happened, and for those having trouble you can activate the main quest by force using the first note under images.

+Some crashing in the city center, or CPU slowdown.

+Random crash at Vault Entrance only occurred and reported once, by me.

+System CPU slow down in Main Atrium

+One player mentioned CTD on load up, but neither Jokerine nor myself experienced this error.  However, limited mods mentioned Project Nevada, but incompatibility has yet to be confirmed. That having been said, I know Project Nevada is the bane of many mods with compatibility issues so I am
listing it just to be safe.

+Crashing from those 4 unique Holotapes… pretty sure I fixed this…
