No idea if you still need advice about it, but I think I found a relatively decent option.
Go to "Hit's Anims Season 2" folder and copy-paste "Hit_AntiMaterielRifle" folder.
Rename it to "Hit_PTRD" or something.
Download(if you haven't already) "Hit's Anims Season 1". Find the "Hit_HuntingRifle" folder. Open the "_1stPerson" folder. Copy the "2hrAimIS.kf" file from it into "Hit_PTRD/_1stPerson".
In the "Hit_Season2.json" file make both PTRDs use animations from "Hit_PTRD".
Worked great for me. There's like, 1 frame of jittery animation between shots, as PTRD and your hands essentially "slide" from AMR fire animation into Hunting Rifle IronSight animation. It doesn't disturb the aiming, however and it also happens fast and doesn't cause any serious distortions.
I also recommend scaling up the mag in NifSkope since AMR reload looks weird with such a small magazine. I scaled vertices Y-wise by 2.5 and it looks fine in terms of textures and reload animation. Bumped up the mag to 5 from 2 since PTRS has 5 bullets per mag anyway.
@sinisterkiller1987 yeah, and it's not a sniper rifle. It's an ANTI TANK rifle, there's a huge difference. Common sniper rifles at the time in the soviet union, anyway, fired 7.62x54 rimmed. This beast fires 14.5x114
This is honestly my favorite gun here in the nexus. My only issue with it is the iron sight alignment of the non unique version is a bit off to the right. You can really notice it when trying to hit enemies from medium to long range. I made a couple of screenshots.

This is made with the character meeting the STR and Guns skill requirements, having the trigger discipline trait and using .50 match (hand load) ammo for maximum accuracy.
1st pic is crouching and second one is standing up.
Is there any way to fix this?
Edit: NVM Downloaded Nifskope and read some basic stuff about it and fixed the issue myself.
I really liked the textures. The animations are slightly worse. I liked the joke of throwing a rifle into the Deathclaw nest. What for? Better to add a unique version to merchant lists. Add a standard one to Dr. Mitchell's house.
hello, i found the special one in quarry junction but i can't find the classic ptrd-41... I don't find it in gun runner shop or in 188 trading post... any tips ?
I am having problems with this the springfield and the Tar once I have one of them installed (doesnt matter) it works fine but when I try to install the others it wants me to overwrite files from alot of other mods (weapon anim replacers FOMOD, other weapon mods, etc) when I hit yes to all I get the archive invalidation error things all over the place, i tried no to all aswell but the same thing occurs, this only happens when I have one of these installed and I dont have the time to go through all the files it wants me to yes to all/no to all (theres quite a bit) any ideas? Love the mods btw I just want to use em all at the same time XD
so in short I can use your mods individually but with another I get "overwrite yes/no/all/none/etc" and I really want to use them all.
The TAR shouldn't have any issues. There are no files that it should be replacing at all.
For the M1903 and the PTRD they are packed with animations from Hitman's 1st person weapon animation overhaul. They are both using the same set of animations so once one is installed you'll get the overwrite prompt when installing the other. You are probably getting this problem because you're using Weapon Anim Replacers FOMOD. They are not compatible with Hitman's animations. I would recommend using Hitman's anyway, I think they are better.
It's on the Nexus here: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/61501/? He also has tons more animation stuff on the Nexus here: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/57561/?

BEST. GUN. EVER.
Amazing work too, I kept seeing that it was seemingly shooting all over the place
