My Little Pony: New Vegas is Magic adds ponies to Fallout New Vegas. Several different pony followers can be found near the 188 trading post.

My Little Pony: New Vegas is Magic adds ponies to Fallout New Vegas. Several different pony followers can be found near the 188 trading post. Simply talk to them and tell them to follow you. They are all marked as essential since Friendship is Magic. The pony creatures are rigged onto the brahmin skeleton. This is pretty much just a conversion of the Fallout 3 mod My Little Pony: Fallout is Magic. As such any bugs which existed in that mod will likely exist in this mod.

Velvet Remedy

All ponies are near the 188 trading post. Except Blackjack who is near mick and ralph's in freeside. Upon being fired they will return to the 188 trading post. There is also now a terminal at the 188 trading post that can be used fire/teleport all pony followers to it and make them essential/non essential.

unzip folder
move contents of folder to the Fallout New Vegas directory, if you are using steam it should look something like this:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Data

Take any junk you have given to any followers added to this mod.
Remove the following files:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Data\fnvmlpmod.esp
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Data\textures\creatures\ponies
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Data\Sound\fx\Ponies
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Data\meshes\creatures\brahmin

Unless you have another mod which in some way edits the brahmin folder.

Yes I finally figured out how to edit kf files, cause mindboggles is awesome, AND have them not crash the game, mostly. All of the pony followers SHOULD have animations for, and thus be able to use, the following weapons:

The Pony Question:
Back in July I had successfully, after several months of trying, converted a slew of pony meshes to fallout 3. It was somewhat unfortunate though. I had originally wanted to give them their own custom kf set but it just wasn't meant to happen. A few weeks after releasing that mod I decided to give modding new vegas a whirl. For the most part it is more stable than 3 although it has its own share of crashes and annoying isms but it was far easier to get working. I had attempted a little project to replace the animation kfs for a creature to make them more quadruped-like. While the kfs themselves worked individually with the skeleton and the mesh they did not meld well together. That is they kept 'overwritting' each other. The mtidle kf was constantly playing and would only allow the other kfs to half work. So while it did technically work it just looked bad. Like the mesh was apprehensive about moving. Some of the kfs weren't hurt that bad but others just looked awful. The thing about it is that, like I said, they work just fine individually. Whether in the GECK, nifskope, even Blender. But when in game, or in the GECK when combined with mtidle, they just look like the worst possible thing.

Known issues:
*eating the ground
*They might get stuck in the ground when fast traveling to constricted or uneven areas, fast travelling or otherwise changing cells should unstick them
*TTW specific:  twilight will attempt to slaughter megaton to the last man

V4: Added a terminal at the 188 trading post that allows you to summon/dismiss all pony followers and make them essential/non essential. Edited their follower scripts so they are properly dismissed. Edited the lgraze.kf to be blank so that they no longer randomly almost constantly eat the ground. Added kfs for several ranged weapons.
V3: Added companion wheel. Does not have commands for tactics/follow distance. Fixed brahmin dialogue camera issue. Fixed 'cant talk to during combat' issue. Fixed Boomer artillery issue. Upped ponies attack damage from 8 to 20. Upped Celestia/Luna health from 500 to 650.
V2: Added Blackjack, Littlepip, Velvet Remedy. Added heal after combat script

Conversion of the Fallout 3 mod My Little Pony: Fallout is Magic:

Bulk of the sounds came from the Skyrim My Little Pony mod by Sekai9999:

Which in turn used sounds from: various MLP:FIM, Witchcraft is Magic, Team Fortress 2, Sega, Hotdiggitydemon's .MOV series and some of the sounds from Zdzichorowerzysta's voice pack.

Which requires SourceSDK. In order to work the MDLDecompiller had to be extracted to:
