About this mod

May the rum never be gone!

Permissions and credits
I was always disappointed that when I went to the bars in New Vegas I couldn't find my drink of choice. So I added it in.
3.0 Update:
The East Vegased edition.
What's in this update?
A new East Vegas Rum Company Logo.
Improved textures available in three sizes.
New
items.
The East Vegas Rum Company (International) Headquarters.
A New EVRC Logo:
Well the old one was kinda crap, I mean I just changed the i in the East India Company logo into an r. They could of sued me for copyright if they still existed. (Yes the v was actually already there. No I don't know why.) They honestly still could sue over this one but at least it's improved.
Improved Textures:
Well if I was gonna fix the logo of course I had to redo the textures, but I ended up going much further with this than I'd originally planned.
Textures are available in 512x512 1024x1024 and 2048x2048. The 1024 textures come with the main download so if you want the quality or need the performance you can find the other two sizes under the optional files.
*Rum, and Wasteland Mojitos have NOT been retextured since the last update. In addition limes, a new item, only have a 512x512 texture.
New Items:
This update adds two new items, limes and sugar.
Both are now needed to craft mojitos and sugar bombs are no longer used in crafting the mojitos. Other than for crafting these new items they have little use.
The EVRC Headquarters:
You will find the headquarters next to the Crimson Caravan Company on the side nearest the Gun Runners.
This is the only place in the world where mojitos can be purchased. They also sell the ingredients to make mojitos but these can be found on other vendors as well.

2.0 Update:

The textured edition.

Your favourite rum now comes in its own custom bottle courtesy of the East Vegas Rum Company whose logo adorns all the bottles, save one.

A very big thank you to djabend for letting me use the resources from his Real World Drinks mod which goes quite nicely along side this mod for the record.

In addition to the textures this update also introduces a new type of rum, Amber's Amber Rum, and an Amber Mojito to go along with it. This new rum is less common than the other rums but also more powerful. The effects can be found in the beverage effects section below.

What this mod adds:
The Ability to craft Rum and Nuka (An item which was already in the game but could only be found before.)
Eight new alcoholic beverages each with their own effects added to the appropriate leveled lists, and three new item which are as follows:
Rum
Amber's Amber Rum
Black Sparrow Rum
Jack's Pearl Rum
Wasteland Mojito
Amber Mojito
Sparrow Mojito
Pearl Mojito
Mint
Lime
Sugar

With the exception of Amber's Amber rum which is rarer, the other three types of rum are roughly as common as whiskey. The mojitos can be bought from the East Vegas Rum Company HQ or they can be crafted with:
Your rum of choice
Nuka Cola Quartz (Which is now more common, though still fairly rare.)
A pinch of lime
A bit of sugar
A dash of mint

Beverage Effects:
Rum:
+1 Strength, +1 Charisma, -1 Intelligence

Amber's Amber Rum:
+2 Strength, +40 Action Points, -1 Charisma, -2 Intelligence

Black Sparrow Rum:
+1 Strength, +1 Endurance, -1 Intelligence

Jack's Pearl Rum:
+1 Strength, +3 Charisma, -2 Intelligence

Wasteland Mojito:
Low Light Vision, +2 Damage Threshold, +2 Strength, +1 Charisma, -2 Intelligence

Amber Mojito:
Low Light Vision, +4 Damage Threshold, +3 Strength, +80 Action Points, -4 Charisma, -4 Intelligence

Sparrow Mojito:
Low Light Vision, +2 Damage Threshold, +1 Strength, +2 Endurance, -2 Intelligence

Pearl Mojito:
Low Light Vision, +2 Damage Threshold, +1 Strength, +4 Charisma, -3 Intelligence

Coming Soon:
At the moment the rum can only be found from vendors and as random loot but I will slowly be hand placing it in appropriate places around the world.
A quest??? (Hopefully I'll get it out before Fallout 4.)

Other Info:
To download simply add the files to the date folder or use the download with manager button.

I suggest you make a merged patch to ensure all of the drinks are in the appropriate lists. (Though you should always make a merged patch anyway.)

If you notice any errors please report them to me and I'll fix them as quickly as I can.

If anyone happens to be interested in voicing one of the characters please feel free to contact me.
