Brynn - a companion mod

Version 2.5

Description:

A friend to take along when travelling the wastelands.

 - Voiced (courtesy of Felicia Day via Veronica)
 - Pleasant personality without an attitude
 - Has a name that rhymes with Win, not Wine
 - Self-administers Stimpaks and Antivenom when supplied
 - Treats player character Injuries, Crippling, and Poisoning
 - "Big Pockets" carrying capacity for team gear
 - Specialties are Guns, Melee Weapons, Medicine, and Sneaking
 - Unlimited ammo for starter weapon (silenced)
 - Requires ammo resupply for all other weapons
 - Uses new armor and weaponry when better is supplied
 - Can die in Hard Core mode, otherwise "Essential"
 - Scales to roughly Player level with a maximum of 40
 - Camp site for storage and whenever awaiting rehire
 - Does not count against regular companion limits
 - Will not be happy travelling with a "mean person"

How do I start?  Where do I go and what do I do?

Follow the road north out of Goodsprings from Doc Mitchell's place, but realize it can be very dangerous out there for low-level characters - so be extra careful.

Requirements:

No special requirements.

Installation:

Install using a mod manager, or unpack the mod and copy Brynn.esp and Brynn.bsa into the game's \DATA folder, then enable the mod. Position the .esp file anywhere in the load order sequence.

Uninstalling:

Uninstall with the mod manager that was used for the original install, or delete the Brynn.esp and Brynn.bsa files.

Conflicts:

Problems have been reported when using this mod with JIP CC and/or TTW.

Known Issues:

Since this mod uses non-standard values for companion healing, special scripting is required to handle mouse clicks when "healing" via the Companion Wheel. Because of game engine limitations, the health numbers that you see may not always appear to be quite right until you briefly move the mouse cursor away from that "pie slice" (although the actual health will always update correctly).
