Description
 
Adds the ability to augment most weapons with additional effects through the workbench.
Inspired by the Borderlands games I have added the ability for you to augment weapons with Fire, Frost, Shock, Corrosion, Explosive, and even Slag*! I've even allowed all unique fired weapons to be open for augmenting!
This is achieveable by obtaining newly added misc items found as rare loot in containers around the game and sometimes sold by vendors.
You can only augment base weapons without modifications, THEN add any wanted mods for everything to work correctly (not even an option otherwise).
I have arranged the mod so that augmenting weapons will not be a regular attainable occurance, purposeful due to the fact that augmented weapons are quite powerful.
For obvious reasons some weapons can't be augmented in some types or not at all - for example cannot justify augmenting flamer with frost/baseball bat with explosives/bb gun with shock etc. just wouldn't make sense!
 
*Slag effect reduces Damage Threshold for a short time
 
 
How to Augment
 
1) Have Repair skill of 50
 
2) Have at least 1 x Fusion Device in your inventory as well as the weapon(s) to augment - doing so will show the list of available crafting options for the weapon(s).
 
3) Have at least one of these items, depending on the effect you want:
 
- 1 x Jar of Concentrated Thermite = Fire
- 1 x Toroidal Coil = Shock
- 1 x Jar of Sulphuric Acid = Corrosion
- 1 x Pouch of Gunpowder = Explosive
- 1 x Chunk of Eridium = Slag
- 1 x Liquid Nitrogen = Frost
 
4) Activate a Workbench to see available augment options.
 
 
Exclusions
 
As I mentioned not all weapons can augmented so here's a breakdown
 
- All melee weapons
- All unarmed weapons except Ballistic Fist and Power Fist
- Power Fist cannot have explosive augment
- All thrown weapons
- Flamer
- Heavy Incinerator
- Explosive weapons can't have explosive augments including Fat Man, Grenade Launcher/Rifle/Machinegun, Missile Launcher
- BB Gun
- Pulse Gun
- Tesla Cannon

FYI I have considered making new textures for augmented weapons with a matching colour scheme but 1. It would take forever 2. Unecessary high file size and 3. Users (including me) tend to use hi-res weapon replacers, so I doubt I will pursue this...unless I get really bored one night :P
