In addition to the posts which list the locations, you might want to change the skill-book challenges to 4 or 5 in FNVEdit. That allows you to (maybe) earn a few stat points without going through the entire map, and as a bonus you can keep the last ones as decoration!

Please post a spoiler/spreadsheet link. I know the purpose of the mod is to find these myself but god the wasteland is too big to check EVERYWHERE for them if I have to find 6 for one stat. I know I probably sound like a baby, too, but I love this game with all my heart; I just don't wanna trudge to every single location in the game.
I've managed to find over 2/3rds of them so far, but the books for increasing the SPECIAL stats are not hidden in such a way as to be very difficult to find. They're sitting in the open. You just have to keep your eyes peeled and look for them.
For example, one can be found sitting in Motor Runner's room. Another in Red Lucy's. While a third that comes to mind is in the trunk of the Crashed Corvega. So far. the only one that I thought was in an obscure location was in Nelson, where you find it in one of the several houses at the location (the one with all the books).
While I can't remember where I found them all, to provide people with a guide, I can still help a little. They're all at locations that are marked on the map, and I can say for certain that I haven't found a single one inside a trunk or other container.
Anyone using this mod lately? It's really hard to find the location for paperback books, so far i only found 4. Would be nice if there's a spoiler for their location.
Are any of the paperback books placed in DLC locations? I've found a Tomorrow #3 magazine in Dead Money but I'm not sure if it's placed or part of a loot list (it was in a garbage can).
