For all the people having trouble removing the letterbox, might I suggest the way that I was able to remove it: - Open the 'Alternate Files' folder > Letterbox > Disable Letterbox - Move the 'enbeffect.fx' file to your enbseries FOLDER inside of the FNV/FO3 directory. Replacing just enbeffect.fx in my FO3 directory didn't remove it but putting it in the enbseries folder did. Hope it helps.
With all the comments, and being confused myself, why are the black bars even there? does literally anybody like having half the screen deleted? Why would the author even put that in in the first place?
I love letterbox, personally. It overwhelmingly is the #1 feature that I like to add to games along with Depth-of-Field. Makes things feel instantly cinematic for me and many others because that's how movies are shot.
An image space modifier from Old World Blues DLC creates a blurred black screen when the ENB is active and you can't see anything. The only solution is to turn the ENB off when it's night.
Anyone know how to modify certain settings? I really like this enb but feel it is too black and white for me. I don't really know if its possible/easy for me to do it but wanted to ask.
I CANNOT get rid of the absolutely ridiculous letterbox, I've disabled it in the effect settings and tried the other setting. Disabled it in-game and still nothing. I covers 2/3 of my screen and looks terrible. No idea how to fix it. Never had this problem before.
Leaving this here, in case anyone else has this issue. You have to take the Alternate File's enbeffect.fx file and place it in the enbseries folder. (The folder enbseries is in your FalloutNV.exe's location, not the Data folder)
So like this, (Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\enbseries) And drop that alternate enbeffect.fx file in that folder, replace, and they should be gone. I also replaced the one in my (Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas) folder. Now they are finally gone.

You must make sure Dust is at the total bottom of your load order and start a new game.
