IMPORTANT: It seems that there is a bug in V1.2.1 where you get the DT buff without Cass as a follower. I have a HotFix uploaded but I didn't have the time to fully test it yet. Please be careful with it.
Sorry for the new update but I messed up the DT stuff. It worked but it did not level with you. Now it should be: Level 1-15: 3 DT Level 16-20: 4 DT Level 21-25: 5 DT Level 26-30: 6 DT Level 31-40: 7 DT Level 41+: 8 DT
Also there is now a way to remove my mod: - Open the console - "startQuest xx004a03" (where xx is the place in your load order) - Wait until quest is finished - Save Game, quit and uninstall

This mod makes my game crash or freeze whenever I try to enter The Prospector Saloon... Even from a fresh game with no other saves at all. Anyone else experience this?
I am currently working on adding a whiskey still and I am pretty sure that I will upload it today as an Optional File! Yes, you don't have to have a still to use the mod, but if you want one you can have it!
I honestly think it'd be better if you could BUILD a whiskey still (or buy it and place it) so you can use it at your home of choice (I'm thinking the Schoolhouse for Jack).
Sorry for the extremly long delay, I had important RL stuff to deal with. No, you can't loot it, I haven't added it to the leveled lists. At least that's what I remember.
Not entirely sure why but with this mod installed my game crashes whenever I try to enter any buildings, or parts of certain buildings. I've tested it on a Vanilla Installation of New Vegas, a Modded Version and a TTW Installation and this mod is definitely the cause, as soon as I remove it from my load order I can re-enter buildings fine and don't get anymore crashes.

What the mod does is adding a few items, textures, texture sets, effects, quests for adding stuff to the player, a hidden perk and a script that handles the DT boost. Nothing that looks like an obvious cause for the crash.
I will take a look at it, but I didn't have the bug so it might be hard to find.
I love this mod! You're definitely earning good karma for it in my book.
I have a suggestion for the radaway version of Jack's Whiskey: I'd call it "Jack's Vault 34 Brew" or "Jack's Hot Zone Special," and make the recipe require 2 Rad-X and 1 Rad-Away, and maybe some other ingredient. It should give you a strong radiation resistance boost (50 points or more) and reduce radiation by 1 point every 4 seconds over the 8 minutes the whiskey is in effect (120 rads in total). That would make the whiskey an invaluable companion for delving into irradiated areas, and would hopefully be balanced in terms of cost and radiation-resisting effects.
The problem is that, as far as I know, I can only let it tick in 1 second steps. It would be possible to script it but I would prefer to not do that. If there is another way I would be happy to get told I will probably add a RadAway Whiskey if I update this mod the next time. But I am not even sure if I will. For me it is more or less complete. Though Six said that he would look into making different textures. But I don't think there is a need for this.
Once you finish your balancing, would you mind if I do a little patch for those who also use Project Nevada? Just a small tweaking of H20 and SLP levels, since Project Nevada increases both over the vanilla values.
