Adds a Boxer dog companion to the El Rey Hotel.

Permissions and credits
Hey guys, Sully here.

Please update to version 1.5 if you haven't already. There was a huge problem with older versions that caused some vanilla companions to become unhirable. This has been resolved.

Looking for a bit of variety from the every-day mutt dogs in New Vegas? Want a loyal, ferocious, and (yes, admit it) cute new dog companion to accompany you on your wasteland journey? Look no further!

Introducing Griffey, the Boxer Dog Companion.

Griffey is a new dog companion, of the popular Boxer breed (if you couldn't already figure that out...)
He comes with a fully functional companion wheel (except for melee to ranged weapons, because he isn't going to be shooting anything, so I didn't even include those options).
He is also fully dialogued, voice acted (some custom, some vanilla), and (mostly) lip synced. Had a bit of trouble with that, but hey. It's my first companion mod. Sue me!

Location:

As of right now, you can find him in the El Rey Motel in one of the previously boarded up rooms.

If people like Griffey, I may include a quest (already have a few ideas, but we will see). If you find any bugs, modder oversights, or think of any other features that you'd like, message me or post about it, and I'll see what I can do, but as far as I can tell, he is ready for release.

Change Log:

Version 1.5: Fixed a major issue that caused vanilla companions to become unhirable. if you haven't already, please update to this! Simply replace old files.

Version 1.1: Put Griffey in his own motel room so there was no possible crazed junkie. Wouldn't be a good first impression to kill his owner, then say "we're gonna be best friends!" His actual owner is MIA/KIA.

No DLCs or NVSE required, but I highly recommend them anyway. Only incompatibilities I can see are ones that edit El Rey Motel.

Let me know if you have any questions or comments. Enjoy.

(And yes, I give kudos to all my endorsers. It's not bribery, its saying thanks!)

Don't use my stuff claiming it's your stuff without asking. It's not nice.

Special thanks and credits given to:
scottmack - for the amazing meshes and textures that made this possible
Dragbody - for providing the new breed's skeleton to make those meshes and textures fit
