You can keep all your weapons with appropriate skill, otherwise it will be like in original.

Permissions and credits
This mod changes the way you interact with Casino Greeters, Silver Rush, CaesarĀ“s Fort and Officier Boyd at Interrogation at McCarrigan. Yes, those situtations where you usually get stripped of your weapons.



With this mod, If you enage in these situations, your Sneak skill defines the outcome:
- Sneak greater or equal 90: you will carry ALL your weapons, and all Chems at Fort - because you are a NINJA.
- Sneak greater or equal 50: you can only carry advanced holdout weapons. You can try pass usual Speech check to still keep Chems at Fort.
- Lower sneak skill allows to carry only basic weapons. You can try pass usual Speech check to keep Chems at Fort.

Think in easy Sneak 0-50, 50-90 and 90+ freedom ranges.


Note that your Sneak skill only allows your companions to carry Advanced Holdout weapons topmost. The 90 Sneak check is not applicable for them.

You can skip all such checks, as usual by, stealth killing the corresponding Greeter (with exception of Boyd).
This will, however be a huge challenge, as they will directly search you first - before you get any option.


As you see - everything is done transparently, predictably and unified now; even in contrast with default vanilla behaviour, where one has really inconsistent options in every such situation: for example in UltraLux and Fort you have option to surrender all your gear even if you have Sneak > 50...


In addition, I made sure that you will NOT be bombarded with "You recieved xxx" message avalance, when you leave the location and get your stuff back.
This happens in Silver Rush and Ultra Lux in Vanilla game, by the way.




History:
Yesterday I stumbled upon a Mod that disables all weapons checks in Casinos. The author of mod explained that he did this out of frustration as to how the keys to weapons always get reseted when visiting such places. I remembered that I was already using such a mod - but to me, completely disabling checks also resulted in uncomfortable / broken game consistensy:
1) The default "always strip player from weapons" method is inconvinient one. Why should you be stripped if you are a ninja?
2) On other hand, completely disabling stripping still leaves the mechanics and NPCs in game.
3) Not to mention, that one can kill them sneaky and omit this procedure completely.

What if I just want to keep ALL of my weapons, if I am sneaky enough; yet apply default two-phase logic of concealed weapons otherwise? Well, this is the result!

This mod is inspired by "Weapons in Casinos" from Rooker75, and uses modification point ideas from mod "No weapons remove" by clanfear. The logic pieces/insertions were made from scratch by me however using only vanilla (original) scripts. It was very heavily reworked and tested in 1.1, I speak about 6 hours of testing/tuning/thinking.


Mod Stability Status: TESTED AND WORKING


Thanks for everyone who tried to test and report bugs in previous release. (Un)fortunately, I have since then discovered a lot of inconsequences, everything is now fixed, steamlined and should be fine. I hope at least those who endorsed, will get my PMs and upgrade. Current release 1.1 is pretty much final.
