For anyone having trouble the first pinned comment in https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/59752?tab=posts
    might work
MIGHT, I haven't tried it yet it just looks like it has the same thing you have to do if you're manually downloading it and installing it through mo2 like I'm doing.
All it is is just moving the meshes and textures out of Data (folder inside "Combat Armor Retextures) and into <data> (the folder that holds all these other folders) and it should be green and have 3 folders now Combat Armor Retextures, Meshes, and Textures in any order.

I don't know maybe I'm wrong as hell, post comments under here if I'm wrong as hell.

Not sure how but for some reason, when npc wear metal armor, the metal part always look like charred black

For some reason out of nowhere it always looks like that no matter who wears it or what gender, which is a real shame because I really loved this one before it got all screwy

does this affect the other crafted metal armors too? or is this purely just the base metal armor?

Odds are this won't ever be updated but the way the goggles near the collar on the female version are just made into part of the armor is funny

The textures in-game look nowhere near 2K. Have I done something wrong? I've used ModOrganizer, tried doing it manually, etc. Nothing seems to work.

Using Vortex to install but the textures are not changing?

I haven't used Vortex before, but you probably need to turn Archive Invalidation off, and then turn it back on. The option probably looks something like this.

Could I theoretically drag and drop the appropriate mesh and texture files into my fallout 3 data folder (excluding the mk 2 meshes and texutres) and have it work in fallout 3?

I'm almost positive that would work, yes.

Doesn't work for me entirely, it only retextures the reinforced variant, don't have anything I'm aware of that would conflict.

Looks amazing and good work, but it's to clean for me. Maybe scratch it up a bit and or some dirt. Just some friendly feedback. You did really good though.
