Hello everybody! I've just uploaded v2 of the mod. I've decided to drop the support for the scripted versions because they seem to be as unstable as a fission bomb for some people (huhuh) so I'll stick with the workbench version instead. This one is compatible with EVERYTHING EVER (including TTW) and now features both surgical tubing and a way to turn the aid items back into the misc versions at a workbench. Enjoy!
Could you make it like an wereable armor piece? To wear on one of your character's leg, giving the "ignore crippled limb" effect. It would be very cool.
Have you thought of making the healing sort of a temporary thing with only half the effect of fully restoring a limb? I just walked 3 months on crutches after breaking my ankle and I would have to say although the crutches let me move around, I wasn't nearly as efficient as I was with 2 legs. My suggestion would be sort of a buff that would increase aiming for the brace and movement speed to half their original ability for x amount of time.
I could indeed, but that is a bit more elaborate than what I'm considering making, sorry. Iconsider this mod finished now and won't be working on it anymore, I'm afraid.
This is actually a really cool mod, I love it's idea, it makes me think of FWE for Fallout 3. You think you can make Surgical Tubing heal torso and head? It'd make this a nice medical mod.
I can add a healing version of the surgical tube, sure. But making it heal the head especifically would be a bit trickier and I'm trying to keep this simple, so the healing version would have to work similar to the others, where the game itself identifies an injured part and heals it automatically. If you're OK with that, I'll consider adding it later
