I fixed the program, now it opened every single time. Before i fixed it I couldn't open any map, no matter how many tries i tried and im on 32gb of ram.
If the OP wants to re-uplaod the fixed version, let me know

I was hoping I could put these maps into the pip boy because I don't like the vanilla map. I can't even open the wasteland maps with Ptolemy because it is such a crappy program.

have you had any thought for doing this for FO3 stand alone or for the TTW mod?

That's Grid and numbers done (an it was a sod actually!) Most of it good to < 3 pixels. Have you thought of a package with .psd overlays? Most of the people who have any use for this stuff probably know their way around Ps or Gimp.. Whatever, let me know what to do with this.

I'll get back to planning my revised LOD

    In response to post #19905419.

If you don't mind, I'd rather you send them to me and I can add them into the Pristine maps download, and I can update the readme and the description, and credit you as a co-creator.

Provided that the maps with the cells marked onto them are the EXACT dimensions of the pristine maps I used, Ptolemy can simply swap the bitmaps, meaning you could change back and forth between maps with/without the marks, without affecting the tags or their placement.

Big thanks if you come through with it!

Oh, It shouldn't be too hard, at least the Cell Grid part, the only question is how well, specifically how pinpoint accurate I can get. I'll try in Photoshop first  but if there is any distortion in the Ptolomy map then the grid will drift slowly, incrementally away from it's correct position - no matter where I begin plotting from (0,0, south of Black mountain for choice). The LOD-Block map I'm less sure of as I'm still getting my head around that.

But Might I suggest making 4 smaller WastelandNV maps NW, NE, SW and SE because the whole thing is unwieldy as far as reading the edges to find the address of some cell in the middle. Also I'll probably make myself a couple of Desktop wallpapers. Which once your system has loaded is no further burden - being as how the GECK is such a memory hog... Interested?

Shouldn't take more than a couple of days, should I upload it to Nexus, then you tell me when you've got it and I'll delete the file... Or should I e-mail it?

The thing I need these maps for is for cell Addresses. 'IF' I can draw a resonably accurate cell grid onto them with the X,Y co-ordinates should I upload them for other modders or should I get them to you to add to your set here? When I finish working the stuff out I'll end up not only with a cell grid map but with the LOD blocks marked noto it as well, which others may find usefull.

Advise please and many thanks for your work.

Oh, very well done! Won't use the cheaty ones unless I'm really stuck, but at least I don't have to run around aimlessly any more, hoping to stumble over something/somewhere/someone. Fully endorsed.
