   In the nexus mod manager, it keeps telling me that a problem occurred and I have no idea how to fix this issue.

      Ok, I got it working. Hope that helps you:
      1) Run Nexus Mod Manager (NMM) as administator.
      2) Press cog in the top menu (between "open folder" and lightbulb).
      3) Check all three top checkboxes (assotiations).
      4) Important: Exit NMM and restart it (as usual, not as admin).
      
      Now you can install this mod.
      If that doesn't help, try downloading the latest beta version of NMM here: https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Nexus-Mod-Manager/releases
