I have all of your other retex mods and I find that I CANNOT play without them. Seriously that is some pristine work. (golf clap) But... this is the only retex mod that I don't particularly like. I still find myself downloading it just to take the armor files because I can't seem to find any other mutant armor anywhere and apparently, there was once a bornagain mutant mod that has disappeared or at least I can't find it. The specific reasons that I do not like the retex here is because of the bright green skin and the enhanced skin reflection. I have to strongly agree with previous posts claiming that they appear to be wrapped in plastic. I personally think that washed out skin tones with a very subtle green and blue hue with much less reflected light would look better. I remember in fallout 1 and 2 that they had paler skin and were encased in dark armor if any at all so that is were my preference is stemming from. I also wish the tire on the left shoulder of the mutant featured in the first image was slightly darker to provide a little more contrast but I assume you figured that the darkness of the rubber would have faded from the extreme sunlight exposure in the Mojave. These are just my opinions and I only intend that you take or leave them as constructive suggestions. And once again, your work really deserves applaud so bravo and please keep modding if you can.
Nice textures, although imho, they have too bright alphas on the normal maps for my taste. It making their skin reflect light as if it were covered in plastic foil or made of shiny metal.
Hello Tau34RUS, great collection of retextures, I loved each one of them. I also included them in episode 24 of my Fallout New Vegas Mods Weekly, I hope you will like it:
Thanks, I like your review. As for SM Overlord Textures mess... I don't think thats my mod issue, as I dont have textures for Overlord Mutans in it, only for these fellows: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Super_mutant_(Fallout:_New_Vegas)
Lol, its like that because Super Mutant Overlords do not have textures in New Vegas and that is what textureless creatures in new vegas look like.
Most of the creatures from Fallout 3 that didn't appear in new vegas have models in the new vegas files without textures, like Overlords, Behemoths, or Mirelurks.
Behemoth is vanilla in Fallout 3, most of the original files without DLC are in New Vegas' BSA files. Overlords are added with Broken Steel. Which is why they aren't there. Granted that isn't the entire case, as the Mothership Zeta rifle, PDW, and captain's sidearm are all in the games files, but not implemented in vanilla.

How their biology works is of course a matter of subjectivity. ^^
