Kuroitsune discovered that the crash appear to be a formid problem, if you people use NVAC the mod appears run ok, try it guys. we will try to find the cause and fix it.
Interesting. The author of NVAC does note that you shouldn't have it installed when creating and testing a mod, because it could fix things for you that would cause others without NVAC to get a crash. Try working on it with NVAC uninstalled
The NVAC log logged a DISABLED LOD ERROR, but I've never dealt with this before, and the search function on this site's forum is completely busted, so I had to figure it out, but I had a hunch.
Reference xx03B3BC6 (some sort of radio console) is initial disabled, but it's base record IndianSpringsTerminalLeverTESTNV "Radio Console" xx03B3CB is flagged with Has Tree LOD. Disabling any reference with a base record that has this flag will instantly crash the game on load up (it's unclear if this only applies to exterior references, it could be okay to use on interior references).
Go into FNVEdit and turn this flag off (Border Region/Has Tree LOD/Hidden From Local Map).
sucks that this mod is left incomplete, i know that Fallout 4 was the new frontier at the time, but i STRONGLY believe in finishing what you start, even if it isnt really that fun for you anymore, it's simply the right thing to do.
besides this sounds like a DLC size mod, and the game can never have too many of those, hope you return and finish the job.
Hey Ferengario Im on the quest to get the data chip and when i get inside the test facility, i either cant find it or i run into a walkway at the bottom of the large lift that..well...leads nowhere. Could i get some help please
ok...ive done everything i could think of....reisntalled the mod several times, even stuck the mod in my fallout nv folder...but for some reson no matter what i do i cant get past the giant lift. Its like its uncomplete and even tcl dosnt work. Am i missing somethin or doin somethin wrong? HELP!!
you have to use the elevator controls on the middle of it, it will go down and then you continue from there. on the botton of the big elevator shaft there is a gate to the laboratories here you have to do a puzzle and continue, this part is finished already. *tip: remember to down the ladder after boss fight with the terminal*
so im stuck at the same part, but the problem is that the gate to the labs isnt there. what im encountering is the textures and stuff for the stairs and the hallway appearing but not being tangible. i can see it but cant walk on it, and the door back to the bunk area is following the elevator down and the stairs being invisible and still solid. i cant proceed forward, i just keep going back to the area i just left.
how can i finish the survivor quest cause ive searched the entire weapon and development place and not even a single person (except if ferals are considered people).Btw awesome mod havent finished it but im very impressed o far
Huuuuuuge, huge landscape to explore! Sadly a bit flat in parts which gives you plenty of opportunity to snipe off anyone and everyone you want from quite a distance. A few more hills would've been nice to break up the landscape and not end with slowly loading canyon walls of one sort or another. Lots of places to explore, plenty of landmarks on the pipboy but sadly no map, that was annoying (even though there is some reason given why you can't fast travel and why there is no overworld map). My biggest problem: Typo galore! Since there is no voice acting, the written word has to make up for it and I can't recall a conversation or journey that didn't have more typos than I could count. I gather the mod author is not a native English speaker, Spanish of some sort given a few hints, but it really took the fun out my playthrough.
Overall, recommended, unless you are sensitive to grammar.
Some advice for others. Go to Goldfield BEFORE reaching the military base. I was essentially softlocked because I picked up the quest power armor before talking to Forrest, and he refused to say anything to me until I went into the Geck and found the right form ID to force complete one of his quests.

be sure to have and use NVSE

sorry for the inconvenience guys
EDIT: The issue is located in the Mojave Desert. Not many records to comb through, so this'll go quick.
