About this mod

Adds real life drugs to the game in as much of a lore friendly manner as possible. So far Cannabis, Cocaine, Speed, Magic Mushrooms, Methamphetamine, Heroin and LSD have been implemented, with more to be added in later updates.

This is a very early test version of what I'm trying to achieve. Despite that, in it's current state I think it's a solid base to build upon, and I'm releasing it here to get feedback basically. If you think something isn't working, or something needs changed, let me know.

ALL DRUG EFFECT DESCRIPTIONS BELOW ARE FOR THE EFFECTS IN-GAME, NOT REAL LIFE. I MADE THE DRUGS TO WORK HOW I WOULD IMAGINE THEM TO IN THE FALLOUT UNIVERSE. I DO NOT CONDONE DRUG USE IN ANY WAY, THIS WAS MADE PURELY FOR ENTERTAINMENT.


> DRUGS

- Cannabis
Comes in a few forms, from the weak Jersey Dirt to medicinal Medi-J. All versions give increased perception and charisma at the cost of all hardcore needs increasing and a drop in intelligence.

You can roll your own joints with Rolling Papers (use the item in your inventory under Aid) that can be bought or looted. After smoking a fair few joints you can learn to make the most out of each bag, using less papers and suffering less from the hunger, thirst and sleep gain. You'll also have to smoke some medical joints for you to fully unlock their healing properties.

Harvestable plants can generally be found near near drug dealers. They may not take kindly to you harvesting them though..

- Cocaine & Speed
Both Cocaine and Speed make you wide awake, with Speed having a far more drastic and instantaneous effect. Cocaine will also make you more alert than usual (+ Perception), while Speed makes you more talkative (+ Charisma).

- Magic Mushrooms
Two varieties of Magic Mushrooms have been added, the potent Fly Agaric and the common Liberty Cap. So far, very few have been planted in the wasteland, on the exterior of some caves, but can be found in the same shops/loot as the rest. Taking the mushrooms yields effects similar to Cocaine and Speed. Time around you may seem to slow down, or are you speeding up?
Want to make Shroom Tea? Take your mushrooms to a campfire along with water & a coffee mug to brew some Shroom Tea. The Tea has the same effects as the mushrooms, but with added (very slight) health restoration and thirst quenching.

- Methamphetamine
Not for the faint of heart. Seriously, your heart may just stop dead look at this drug. But for those hardcore users out there, you can create your own Meth at a (not so much) super secret drug lab in Novac. Just use your motel room key for access. May take some time to cook it mind you, luckily, it's fully automated by the Waltzer White/Plunkman robot team!

Meth makes you incredibly more perceptive, and stronger, but comes with a hefty addiction that may be hard to shake.

- Novac Drug Lab
Located right next door to your Novac Motel room, just use the same key to unlock it.

- Blue Harvest
A new store located across the street from the Atomic Wrangler. Will eventually be a fully fledged store, for now it has some basic items and a vendor.
The navmesh isn't quite right, companions will walk across the tables and seating for now. Will be fixed when I've fleshed it out with all clutter/items.

- Fixed the permanent -INT debuff from Cannabis (As I have no way of knowing how many INT levels you lost, please use the console command "player.modav intelligence <value>" replacing <value> with how many levels you lost)
- Removed the blur effect from Cannabis (for now, the addiction removal is permanent, not temporary as planned. Will work on a workaround)

MAY be incompatible with anything that alters certain interiors or exteriors.
